I wanted to post this awhile back, but I guess this is a good a time as any.

The Terps and the Tarheels don't play each other this year.

Not hardly Dave. Our defense seems worse this year than it did last year.

But funny enough I noticed that yesturday checking out our schedule.

All I can say is that I hope we already have a list of coaching candidates lined up. Some how Bunting [UNC coach] hasn't done a bad job in recruiting. Outside of the state of NC that is. UNC State has been killing up as of late.

Hopefully with a better coach we'll do better.

Is it basketball season yet? :D

Which tells me even more that we need to make a change at the HC position. UNC regularly out recruite the dookies. But this coaching staff is a joke.

Honestly...I'm not counting on winning another game this year....

its funny: UNC and Pickens A&M have the same record, but Pickens came into the season with misplaced dreams of a National Title and they just absolutely suck. My Cocks could lose out(except for when they play Pickens) and as long as Pickens kept losing I'm happy.

Well I'm a UNC fan who hasn't given up on Bunting yet. I also haven't given up on the season. Our defense is better than last year from my point of view. I've been to every game and other than the UVA game I have seen improvement. Now it isn't dramatic improvement but it is improvement nonetheless. I choose to look deeper then the stats for those of you who disagree with me.

I believe our offense has the potential to be very good and right now we are 2-2. We have beaten the teams we needed to beat and we lost to the teams we thought we would lose to. The key games this year will be the State, Wake, Duke, Utah, and VT games. We need to win 3 or 4 of those and to be honest I'm not sure we can't do it. I'll admit it isn't likely but if the defense keeps us in games like they did in the first half the last 2 games and our offense comes alive then it's possible. Not likely but possible.

You might be right but I'm not giving up hope. I know what I've seen and while it hasn't been pretty at times I've seen enough to think we have an opportunity to do some things. I realize I'm setting myself up here and understand that we might not win another game this year but I choose to be optimistic.
