In devising their plan for tomorrow night's game against the Baltimore Ravens, Gibbs and Co. might have considered going no-huddle again. For all the discussion this week about Washington's struggling and perhaps predictable offense, the unit did enjoy modest success against the Browns when it skipped the huddle.

Could this work against the Baltimore Felons?

Well, they ended strong - despite the loss - against Dallas because of a no-huddle. Of course, the game was ending so they were forced to play like that.

I hope no-huddle isn't simply saying they're going to concentrate on a quick-strike passing game that doesn't allow the defense to substitute. I want to focus on the run and not go away from it, passing only when we have to.

We ran the no-huddle a lot last week.... That didn't work too well, now did it.

Where's the shotgun?Do we even have it in our offense?

The only answer to our offensive woes is to stop turning the ball over.

IMO the best way to keep Portis from fumbling is to give the ball to him 30+ times a game. WORK IT OUT OF HIM.

We pay this guy to much, and he's too talented at running the ball, to be pass blocking more often then he's running the ball.

Gibbs doesn't like the Shotgun. He mentioned on the radio once that he believe there are more opportunies for a botched snap in the Shotgun than under center. (Which is pretty funny since we have registered about 3 or 4 fumbles between Ram and Brunell under center this preseason and regular season)

My biggest problem with the no-huddle is the communication. If all 11 guys aren't on board for a no-huddle series, it could lead to several/many illegal formation or illegal motion penalties...of which we HAVE seen quite frequently as of late. I'm not sure if our guys have the communication "gel" yet to deal with this on a consistant basis.

the no huddle worked pretty well last week IMO. we drove the ball down the field quite easily but we just couldnt punch it into the endzone. i think it would work because it will tire baltimore's defense down.

i would like to see the offense run a little play action with a bootleg more often.

I ususally don't like no huddle during the game (just end of the game), but the Redskins are doing it quite well. Nice change. :)

It's a great idea to jump start the offense. It also has the WR's involved more to keep the db's on their heels, reducing substitutions, spread the field and the defense. Usually allows more running lanes for the rb at times as well.

The TE would figure heavily in this, but unlike the other games. The Skins must absolutely protect the ball, because the Ravens are still ball hawks when you make turnovers.
