I'm not saying Drudge is wrong, but he often is. I still recall his much-touted "exclusive" that John Kerry was having an affair with an intern which turned out to be total BS and even Rush Limbaugh gave up talking about it after a few days. Drudge has a history of libeling Democrats and, let's face it, almost anyone here could cook up a fake "document" like the one Drudge has on the website. And the quote from the Dem "source" is predictably anonymous. If I see this being picked up by more reputable news organizations then I'll take another look.

Drudge has also been sued a bunch of times for libel and has had to settle as many times.

what's wrong with drudge??? he broke the zipper-gate story!! you want more than 1 right story in 10 years??? what's wrong with you guys??? aren't journalists like matt drudge and dan rather allowed to be wrong from time to time?

The problem with Mr Drudge is that he's wrong time and time again. Whatever your beef with Dan Rather, I don't think chucking him in with Matt Drudge is very fair.
