Florida coach Ron Zook acknowledged Wednesday that he confronted several fraternity members after a fight between them and three of his players last month, and athletic director Jeremy Foley called Zook's behavior "unacceptable."
Foley called Zook on Sept. 16 and told him to go to the Pi Kappa Phi house to defuse a dispute between fraternity members and several football players. But when Zook arrived he threatened fraternity members, according to witnesses.
I wonder if the Old Ball Coach has gotten any calls from Gainsville recently.
BTW - If Zook had tried that at the Sigma Chi house, he wouldn't have been able to walk home. :D

LOL
Speaking of Spurrier, the latest "rumor" now has SS heading to East Carolina....:D
He was at the Pirates home game over the weekend. Never mind that he was only visiting one of his old assistants who is now coaching there.
I've also heard that Texas may be looking for a new coach next year after they let Mack Brown go....who knows?

Texas always has scary talent. I could see him doing some damage there...
Not sure about East Carolina, though. Didn't Noah Brindise go there to help coach?

Geez Zook is just asking for Spurrier to come back. And for him to not have a job ever again.

Funny.......
BTW, since when did Fraternity guys start beating up on college football players? When I attended Univ of Md. when those guys showed up at parties, everybody go out of their way.

I think Spurrier will go somewhere warm. I guess everyone agrees with that. Returning to Florida is a definite possibility. He might like the chance to coach some place where he doesn't face so much recruiting competition from Miami and Florida State.

this on top of Florida not being the top notch program since Spurrier left imo will be Zook' calling card at seasons end, my Brother lives in Ocala which is 25 minutes from Gainesville and when I last spoke to him (2 weeks ago) he was saying how all the boys in Florida are calling for a change ASAP, remember 3 or 4 loses for Fla. are not accepted, Spurrier may just go back to Florida or a dark horse is the Utah HC Urban Meyer or something like that the rumor is down in Gator land.

I think he is the O coordinator there.
