Man did Phil hang Kobe out, I mean Kobe is no prince but to have the trust of a coach/player relationship violated like that....I don't think Phil will ever be trusted by players again...kinda unbelievable and classless to air the dirty laundry like that...

Phil Jackson is no longer Kobe's coach. As Mike Wilbon said in the Washington Post the whole situation in LA was dreadfully under reported. If a player is a disruptive influence within a team I think the fans have the right to know what is going on. This is not like another big ego player like Shaq talking, this is a nine time NBA champon coach. I did not see Jackson words as disrespectful particuarly in light of how many other players have described Kobe in far less glowing terms. Team is not a word in Kobe's vocabulary and it is about time he was called out on it.
Kobe breached the coach/player trust everyday when he made himself uncoachable last year, this is nothing in comparison. As affable as Kobe appears in the media, he is far from the team player L.A needed last year, especially in the finals against Detroit.
