The head of the christian coalition tells us that W said there would be no US casualties in Iraq. I would call this more proof that W had no plan and still has no plan. He really is a terrible leader of our military. I'd be outraged if I was serving over in Iraq, and the president showed himself to be this clueless.

Robertson: I warned Bush on Iraq casualties
President's response: 'We're not going to have any'
NEW YORK (CNN) -- The founder of the U.S. Christian Coalition said Tuesday he told President George W. Bush before the invasion of Iraq that he should prepare Americans for the likelihood of casualties, but the president told him, "We're not going to have any casualties."
Pat Robertson, an ardent Bush supporter, said he had that conversation with the president in Nashville, Tennessee, before the March 2003 invasion. He described Bush in the meeting as "the most self-assured man I've ever met in my life."
"You remember Mark Twain said, 'He looks like a contented Christian with four aces.' I mean he was just sitting there like, 'I'm on top of the world,' " Robertson said on the CNN show, "Paula Zahn Now."
"And I warned him about this war. I had deep misgivings about this war, deep misgivings. And I was trying to say, 'Mr. President, you had better prepare the American people for casualties.' "
Robertson said the president then told him, "Oh, no, we're not going to have any casualties."
Robertson, the televangelist who sought the Republican presidential nomination in 1988, said he wishes Bush would admit to mistakes made.
"I mean, the Lord told me it was going to be A, a disaster, and B, messy," Robertson said. "I warned him about casualties."
More than 1,100 U.S. troops have died in Iraq and another 8,000 troops have been wounded in the ongoing campaign, with the casualty toll significantly increasing in the last six months as the insurgency there has deepened.

Of course, Bush also said:I've been to war. I've raised twins. If I had a choice, I'd rather go to war.Which war was that, dear George?

Pat Robertson is a piece of work[opportunist]!
A few years back he took credit for praying a Hurricane away from the Va.-N.C. coast. He's so good that he let Isabell kick our butts last year!
The man is a hell of a businessman[Family Channel].It must be nice to have a tax exempt religious operation.
By the way,I'm less than a couple of exits from CBN[Regent]University in
the Pat Robertson holyland of Va.Beach.

Still waiting for Bush to deny this. If he does, what a quandary we'll face! Which liar would you believe?

My wife and I were at a nice restaurant a few years back. Pat Robertson and his family I presume, were seated at the table in front of us. Pat isn't popular in the gay community, and his waiter probably would have scored a 100% on the How gay are you questionnaire. Needless to say, I think ol Pat had a flavor enhancer put in his entree that night!

Rove is gonna need alot of extra time to come up with a half-believable spin for this one. Let's be patient and give him a bit more time Tom.
