More than a third of Turkish women believe they deserve to be beaten if they argue with their husbands or deny them sex, according to a new survey.

Let's invade Turkey!! We can't allow this to go on! Oh yea right they're our friends...We must be able to invade some other country because of this gross injustice to mankind. Any suggestions? Ireland shouldn't be able to put up much of a fight...Let's go get 'em!!

it's an interestingass predicament to read something like that. at once. you are overcome by the notion that these godforsook turks are simply the sad consequence of a civics inferior to our own. and yet. in the seeing of such a thing, one can't help but see its opposite. as they say, the reverse side of a coin also has a reverse side. on a side note, the hide away lounge on 147th st. harlem touched my soul tonigth in a way previously only aunt bee has in the late late velvety maybelline hours of the hot alabama night.

Turkey is a very interesting place and I can verify that their ways are very different from ours (not wrong, just different). I served as a Army Broadcaster there for 8 months. We were "highly encouraged" not to have relationships with turkish women due to the fact that if a Turkish man were interested in that woman she could be beaten or worse.

The most poetical words i've ever heard. Beautiful. Can I use that, and of course give you credit in a song i'm rightin'? It goes along with the country song "Help me make it through the night". But this one starts out like Barney singing ..."Take the Bullet from my Pocket". "Jam it in to the cylinder socket"...etc.... :Pickle: Can anybody finish the last couple of lines?
