At the end of the race they said that they have lost a Hendrick team plane on radar. I could not tell if they said Rick was on it or not but it sounds bad. I pray they find everyone ok but it looks bad

I thought that they said that they had been in contact with Rich Hendrick...so I don't know who would be on that plane.

10 people died, the plane went down in Patrick County VA.

Man that sucks. Rick lost his son, brother and neices along with 6 friends. My prayers to all the friends and family of all involved. Wow that is awful.

Sad story indeed. Thats not too far from where I live....

This is just sad. I had hoped they would find the plane with survivors. Really, really sad.

Looks like a part of this may effect Joe Gibbs Racing as well. Seems that Tony Stewart's pilot was aboard that plane also.

That is awful, to lose so many family members all at once.......very sad, god bless Rick and his family.

There seems to be as many deaths in NASCAR by airtravel as there are in the cars.Another sad and tragic moment in NASCAR history.

That is the same thing i thought when i heard about it very sad for all of raceing
