nah, im thinking urban meyer will be the coach there. i mean, he did leave bowling green. how good of an oppurtunity will it be for him to play in florida. think of all the recruits he can get there. this will probably be his best chance to become a big time collegiate coach, and possibly translate it into the pros. but if he turns it down, im sure OBC will be interested.

I think he'd like a chance elsewhere. I suspect he'll want nice weather, though, so he can get in his usual 18 holes by lunch. I'm pretty certain Florida will pursue him, though.

i dont see spurrier going back to UF - yet. i think they want to see what urban meyer can do. UF is a wiser choice for meyer though than NC. more talent there, easier job recruiting, more fans, simple choice. i think spurrier wants another try at the NFL. he failed once, but he's a little smarter now, will prolly be less stubborn, and not to mention the inforcement on the chuck rule. if he fails twice, im sure he'll leave himself open for the gator job.

The more I watch ESPN, the more I think you guys were right. It looks like UF really wants Spurrier back. And it seems mutual too with Spurrier.

Keep in mind one thing: Spurrier left because of the AD Foley, he's still at UF. Would spurrier bury the hachet? Would Foley? Who cares?
