If Carl Hiassen wrote NFL power polls, that's how he'd do it. Except he'd probably mention Florida strippers more frequently.

i wish games were played more often so the power polls would come more often. i love them. the jim haslett crack was the best.

my biggest disagreement, is how do you give up 31 points to the 0-6 dolphins, who hadnt scored more than 13 previously during the year, and only lose 5 spots, while the chiefs jumped up 8 by beating an overrated atlanta team?

not bad. i disagree with dallass being better than us, but time will show i'm right there. i think we just hit a nasty bump in the road early and hopefully we'll recover.

I found it pretty funny that we jumped 3 spots from #26 to #23 in the CBS power poll when we didn't even play this past weekend....lol

Good job overall Spence. I don't see the cowgirls being over us, but they did beat us head to head so I can't argue too hard.

seriously, if the power poll came out more often, it could fill the empty hole in my life where my life should be.....

as a team, washington plays better than dallas. we dont lose games in the final minute, we just arent winning then either....the only reason dallas is ahead of us is becuase they beat us, and i wont argue that(i'll argue how they did it though).

I think I know the author of this poll! You may recognize him as the originator of such threads as "A Painfully Funny Article from The Onion " or "Jesse Ventura Endorses..."

#3, Mewelde is a kind of toasted cracker. You see it in salad bars sometimes.

#26, Bidwell never spent $800 US on anything in his life. Canadian money, maybe. I hear his wife wears CZ.

That was great! Everyone always mentions the Pats winning streak, but they never mention the last team to beat them. I don't care how injury depleted they were or who the opposing coach was!

"Mark Brunell-bashers should remember that if you count completions to backup receivers standing on the sidelines, the Redskins QB has a passer rating of 127.9. "

delightful!

PSF after reading your powerpoll for the first time after week two I don't even bother to read any other anywhere. Not only does it fill you in on football but is also the most comic relief that usually comes along that day. Great job and keep up the good work.

Two teams in the top half of the league with losing records ........... hmmmmmmm ............ someone putting something a little stronger in their pipe now a days!
