I bought a Quiet Riot's greatest hits today and youngins in the store looked at me like I was wierd, which may hold some merit but it reaffirmed my worst fears. I am not a youngin anymore
I remember when I thought 30 somethings where old people :banghead:

A little while back I was called "ma'am" for the first time. None of the guys got why it was a big deal, but it was a HELL of a SHOCK for me. (The women in my store all exchange the stories as to the first time they were called ma'am.)
I know i'm one of the "youngin's", but i still thought you'd enjoy the story. To a 6 year old, 19-20ish is pretty old...

I guess being called "sir" for the first time wasn't a big deal for me. I sure as heck don't rememebr it, anyway.
I've still got another 8 years or so before I have to start worrying about feeling old, so for now I'll just live in blissful ignorance.

I remember feeling weird when the local classic rock station started playing music that was popular when I was in college.
Just wait...the definition of "old" changes with every year that marches by!
I'm gonna go take a nap now....

Geez, you guys. Cut out this kind of talk. I just missed attending my 25th high school reunion. Now that's old! (Go High Point!)

A bit off-topic... I saw QR live in 1982... just after the release of Metal Health. It was the first time I found out that as you go lower on the guitar neck, the notes go up... I was 11.

I never went to a concert when younger but I have heard QR is still touring (very small time) but they dress the same with the tight pants and all but they have gotten much rounder and things are said to be very ugly. I have no proof of this rumor but I do not think I want to see any pictures at all if it is true :D
