Actually the two coaches in 1949 both got fired the same year :) and we DID NOT send a player to the Pro Bowl. Back then it was called ALL NFL. The Pro Bowl came about, I believe in 1953.

I used Rich Tandler's, The Redskins from A-Z, Walking Encyclopedia Publications, 2002, he's also been at www.extremeskins.com, been a guest on sports shows and other sports websites. Now if the reference is to another year and coaches, where's the answers?

The schedule in the book doesn't show us losing to those teams, as one of those teams was Dallas, the other we play next week - Philly.
