Watched this game last night on ESPN Classic. I was amazed at the number of NFL stars that were in this game. (Especially for Miami)

Miami
Phillip Buhcannon (Oakland)
Ed Reed (Baltimore)
Ken Dorsey (San Fran)
Clinton Portis (Washington)
Jeremy Shockey (New York Giants)
Najah DAvenport (Green Bay)
Willis McGahee (Buffalo)
Jonathan Vilma (New York Jets)
DJ Williams (Denver)
Bryant McKinnie (Minnesota)
Andre Johnson (Houston)
Vince Wilfork (New England)
Vernon Carey (Miami)
William Joseph (New York Giants)
Jerome McDougal (Philadelphia)
Sean Taylor (Washington)
Kellen Winslow Jr (Cleveland)

Is that nuts or what?!?!?!

Oh yeah...and Virginia Tech had Kevin Jones (Detroit), Earnest Wilford (Jacksonville) and Jake Grove (Oakland).

I think that's why they are calling it, the "U" now.

That was an amazing team for sure dj....the only thing they are missing is a QB, and that could be a very scarey NFL team...

Only thing they're missing is another national title.

Is that the game where Wilford dropped the 2-point conversion that would have tied it?

wouldnt lee suggs be on the VT list too?

Wasn't that the year he pulled his ACL during the first game of the season and sat out the entire year?

Yeah I think it was.

Don't forget these guys for us Hokies!

Andre Davis (Cleveland)
DeAngelo Hall (Atlanta)
Ben Taylor (Cleveland)
Chad Beasley (Cleveland)
Willie Pile (Kansas City)
Kevin McCadam (Atlanta)
Garnell Wilds (Washington...but not really since he's on the practice squad)

Not that all these guys other than Davis and Hall are big name guys, but they're playing in the big leagues nonetheless!
