Remarkedly, the Skins got a win out of two of them, so I don't look down on that as much as I do other stats of a QB.
Shuler was the worst. He threw twice as many pickles as he did touchdown passes, and actually had a worse completion % and passer rating than Brunell.

Shuler, not even a debate. brunell has won three games and has a 300 yard game. George won some games, so did Banks. Conklin didnt play nearly enough.

At least Heath was successful in something (http://www.hsre.com/). He has the gall to put a picture of himself in a skins uniform...

I said Jeff George. All I remember is him curling up like a little girl and taking a dive every time the rush came. Oh, and then saying he didnt think he should have to be a leader on the team. What a flake.

You mean Wuerffel?Or should I say woeful.Yeah he really sucked,so did Shane Matthews. But the dumbest Q.B. of all time has got to be Gus Frerrotte. He takes the cake for head butting the wall and injuring his neck celebrating a t.d.

Hey everybody. I am a first time poster on this board. I have been reading your posts for a while and really like most of your opinions. Now feel it's time to start getting involved. Hopefully I will be able to contribute.
As for the QB question, I have to vote for George as well. He was a head case before he got here and left even worse. Great arm, terrible attitude.
I am looking forward to watching Ramsey, I couldn't take any more of Brunell. Hopefully he will be a better mentor than he was QB!

We are talking Redskins QB, not what they did elsewhere, then it is obvious that if Joe Gibbs pulls you, even reluctantly, it is scary.
The stats was one thing, the time for making big plays on instincts was another, and then the obvious loss of something between gumby pills and geritol started to set in. Take it from Gibbs, it takes an old man to know an old man. Time for coaching or maybe a turkey shoot next week, for Mark Brunell.
Shuler don't even think about grinning!

Heath Suhelr. It all has to do with expectations and noone was expected to do more than this guy and no one failed as miserably at it than this guy.

Keino my man, stop the insanity. Gus made the Pro Bowl one year as a Skin and while I won't argue that he was much better that "average", he is not in the top 10 worst QBs IMO.

George. He was a bratty little girl in a QBs body.
Then Brunell, who is a 50 year-old QB in a 34 year-old QBs body.
Heath Shuler was drafted after his sophomore season after two years of running an OPTION offense at Tennessee. That Norval decided to start him when he did is the reason his play bit. If you performed the same experiment on any 100 college option QBs, you would get the same result at least 99 times. At least Heath had all the physical tools. If only anyone had bothered to teach him the pro game before feeding him to the wolves.

Not sure how anyone can go with any player over Heath Shuler. He was a huge bust, HUGE bust.Exactly. I think this might be a case of time smoothing over some rough edges. Or some of our younger members just don't remember Shuler. As bad as Brunell has been, Shuler was worse. Often much worse. If you wonder how that is possible, just imagine Brunell's performance and then double his sacks and interceptions. That was Heath Shuler.

Brunell's recent performances must be fresh in people's minds.
He was no where close to being as bad as Heath Schuler.

I might have voted Shuler had I been able to watch him...unfortunately at the time he was busting it up, as it were, I was in college without a TV set, so was unable to see his play first hand. However, I have been able to see Mark Brunell first-hand, so I had to vote for him.

This just in: Gus Ferrotte Sucks!!!!
If he made the Probowl he made it because every good QB in the league was injured or had something better to do. Notice he never ever got another starting gig in this league once he left here.

Gus had a perfect qb rating in a game for the vikes last year. Something never done by a Redskin QB.

Heath Shuler was hideous. And he cost us a great draft pick position. And we wasted two seasons (or was it three?) figuring out that he was awful.
Please don't ever have a thread where we have to say his name again. It's just bad karma.

Shuler was the human example of a deer caught in the headlights. I've never seen any other QB look so confused and scared when he looked at the sidelines, like he didn't know what to do.

Gus doesn't suck...he is a mediocre QB, I wouldn't want him starting for my team, but he is a great #2 to have. He is still in the league, while Shuler is selling real estate.

Shuler, he was flat out scared to be out there and threw it away. Brunell wasn't quite as scared, just can't throw the ball anymore.

And and ate it too..... I always liked Ramsey and at least wanted to see what he could do with some pass protection cause he has an arm but, I'm still in awe of how a 3 time Pro Bowl QB Brunnell stunk so bad this year. What happened? Didn't he actually have an arm or hand injury? Maybe that's it.
Heath was to the Redskins what Ryan Leaf was to the Chargers...
He was a shipwreck!
LOL, a SHIPWRECK!! That pretty much sums up Shuler's Redskins career. What a mess that turned out to be.
