The Cardinals exercised the option on Carpenter (smart) and declined their option on Williams (also smart).

Morris is a free agent and I personally do not want him back at the money he made this year or the money he is seeking. Right now he is no more than a #3 or 4 starter.

The Cards need a dominator like Pedro to take the next step. The Sox just hammered our pitching.
