Trade for Guillen (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1926838)
I gotta give Jim Bowden some credit knowing that he isn't going to have a job for very long, he is certainly keeping himself busy. Jose Guillen is a talented player, a little bit of a basketcase though. He should be a strong bat in the middle of the lineup for the DC Expos though.

He said that he wanted to make this team competitive.
He seems to be a man of his word so far. I think whomever the new owners are would be foolish to not retain Bowden for at least a couple of years to see what he can do for the franchise.

I agree. I like this signing a lot. Guillen is a quality player with some youth.

It will be nice to have that Washington, NY and Philly triangle in baseball as well as in football again, don't you think?
