Hi everyone
For some reason, one of my PS2 controllers has been acting strange lately. It keeps pressing down for some reason. Its like something is holding the down arrow. Please can you tell me how to fix this problem or if I should get a new one. Thanks!

has it been dropped, stepped on or anything like that?

Yeah, if the controller was laying face down when you started your ps2, then the analog stick gets messed up. try unplugging the faulty controller and make sure the analog stick is set right, then plug it back in and start the ps2...you may just have to buy a new one.

any of these should work, eventually this will get worst or then permenant and eventually the controller probably will die altogether

It only happens to me when I leave my controller upside down and turn it on, other than that I have no problems.

ANOTHER QUESTION: How do I help my PS2 system from posting the message "Disc Read Error"?

I have some older games with a few scatches and no problems at all and then last week I bought a brand new NCAA 2005 Football and it sometimes takes me like 5-10+ times of resetting the system for it to work. What gives.......does the system need a deep cleaning or what?

Any solid advice is appreciated.
