View Full Version : Can Ryan Boschetti be a starter?

Does anyone else think that Boscheti could be a starter at DE for us next year. He looks like he has dropped down from his listed 300lbs. and had 4 tackles in his first ever game as a Skin. Not only that but he had great pressure on the QB a couple of times.

He did get pulled on obvious passing downs for Clemons but he looked like a season starter.

I say give him some snaps every game and see how he does. From one game it's extremely hard to determine whether he's a starter or not. I was impressed by his first game, but I need to see more.

draft a young de...he can start opposite of wynn vs. daniels while the young guy develops...boschetti is a player though

we dont really know too much about him to say that. we'll see later in the season. but the way it looks now, even i could be a starter for the d line and be affective

If Boschetti could be a player of starting caliber then that would be great but I'll need to see it over a few more games to believe it.

Simply put, I AGREE

Boschetti coudl prove to be good depth, but if were gonna have a feared defense we need real bona fide dlineman.

I dont see why not, whoever is getting this guys (is it williams or gibbs) is doing a heck of a job on this defence especaily with the ron warner and demetric evens picks not to mention ryan clark.

I try to keep it as simple as possible so that my thoughts cannot be twisted. I am glad someone appreciates that besides me.

It would have to be at LDE, IMO. I don't think he has the speed to be a blindside pass rusher, or he would have been doing that already.
