Nats sign Cordero and Hammonds

I liek the Will Cordero signing because along with Vinny Castilla, Cordero will bring some veteran leadership to a young team. Jeffrey Hammonds I am not real concerned with this move, it was a minor league deal and he will have the opportunity to win a roster spot in Spring Training. I can remember all the promise the O's had for Hammonds when they darfted him, yet he never lived up to the hype and was considered injury prone.

All in all, not real impact signings.

Hammonds has proven himself a very good utility player of late. That is a good pickup and you never know...sometimes people are late bloomers. Just look at that guy who blew up for the Orioles this year.

I don't like either signing, but I'm a Braves fan who many around me are trying to convert over to "Nationalism" so what does it matter as far as how I feel?
