My NBA Live is just crazy! No, not like my Madden. This actually works. My friend and I are sort of competing to see who can get the most big trades. We didn't actually say we were gonna do it, but we just started doing a bunch of crazy stuff. And this is in the franchise and they do decline a lot of offers. okay.... First, when I started my team (Wizards), the starting line-up looked like this:
C - K. Brown: 69
PF - E. Thomas: 59
SF - A. Jamison: 78 (I think)
SG - L. Hughes: 71 (I think)
PG - G. Arenas: 73
I drafted a pretty good SG that I put in the starting line-up for Etan. I moved up Jamison and Hughes to fit him in.They started to improve. I won one championship with that team. I kept that line-up like that for about 3 years before I got tired of it. So I traded Antawn Jamison (81 at the time) for Jason Richardson (85 at the time) of Golden State. There were a few no-names involved, but my no-names were way better than their no-names so that's why they accepted. After the improvements and trade, my line-up looked like this:
C - K. Brown: 76
PF - E. Thomas: 64
SF - J. Richardson: 85
SG - Hughes: 75
PG - Arenas: 81
In the mean time, my friend traded D. George of the Lakers (yeah, he's a lakers fan) and a couple no-names to Washington for Gilbert Arenas and a pretty bad rookie. In his game, Gil was only at like 76. He did two more big trades after that. Traded Gil with some no-names over to the Pistons for Rasheed Wallace and a bad rookie. Wallace didn't last too long in LA. In less than two months, he traded him to Miami for Dwayne Wade. Again, no-names involved. His line-up is pretty unbalanced:
C - C. Mihm: 57
PF - L. Odom: 85
SF - K. Bryant: 93
SG - D. Wade: 89
PG - C. Atkins: 59 (He liked Chuckie Atkins for some reason)
Since he killed the Wizards with the Gilbert Arenas trade, I thought I would try to get him a little pissed off, even though it's two different games. I traded Richardson (88), Hughes (70, and getting worse), and a pretty good rookie who was HUGE. All of them for KOBE (90)... My friend's favorite player. He hasn't really done anything since then. He loves Dwayne Wade and Kobe. And he has them both so he doesn't wanna trade anymore. Then, today, I traded Kobe (85), Kwame (78), and a rookie to the Cavs for LeBron James (93) and a pretty bad player. They REALLY wanted Kwame. Think it's a dumb trade? It'll all work out. Don't worry. Next, about 5 days later in the game, I traded Gilbert Arenas (85, slowly getting worse) and a couple no-names for Carmelo Anthony (90) and one of their no-names. After training, my line-up looked like this:
C - D. Milicic: 67 (In all the trades, I somehow got him)
PF - D. Riersen: 78 (got him in a trade when he was around 70 and he's improved a lot. He's not a real player that is in the NBA right now)
SF - C. Anthony: 90
SG - L. James: 95 (improved in training camps)
PG - B. Palmer: 76 (Drafted him. He was the SG I mentioned earlier)

LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony on the same team! DAMN! I haven't told my friend about his though. I'll tell him tomorrow. Anyone else have NBA Live 2005 stories you wanna share?
