Wow was I suprised to see this. It was pretty cool though. I wish they would have ran some pitches out of it to get Portis in the open field.

Yep I picked up on that as well...

I think they used it for max protect when they were in it though.

Gibbs' offense has always been based on a multitude of formations and shifts but still running the same plays.

they definitely ran out of it a few times. I think it was right up the gut though.

I don't really like the formation much, but if you're only going to have one WR, I rather that formation than putting them all on the line. Yeah, Joe, Those runs were terribly uncreative.

Yeah, you can't run the same plays out of the same formation all the time, teams are going to realize what is coming.

Give it time people. Gibbs will run more plays out of the formation. Yesterday he essentially put the league on notice with it. I suspect that NEXT YEAR there will be alot of wrinkles added to keep teams on their heels. So far, they have only seen two plays from the formation. They cannot prepare for something they haven't seen.

True, but what is Gibbs going to be able to do that most coaches don't already know anyway? This formation isn't new nor should it be treated as such.

i dont think the league is sweating the full house formation used by gibbs like they do when the falcons come out with it.
