The truth about yesterday

Hey guys, it wasn't real pretty yesterday but this is what good teams do. They beat up on bad teams. It's waht the eagles do, the pats and the steelers. We're on the right track. Now if we could just have the first Dallas game, the Ohio teams and the first giants game back, we'd be right on track for the playoffs. I'm encouraged that we're finally beating teams we should and I'm even more encouraged that we're playing better teams(philly/Pit) very closely. Even the GB we should've won. we lost that one on a bad call.Overall I see a very good progression. Keep your chins up skins fans!!!!

I agree about the 1st Giants game, (what we had 7 TO's in that game?) also throw in there the Ravens game in which we held their offense pretty much in check the entire time, (it was their Defense and Special Teams that won them the game) just give us those 2 games and we're 7-7 and sitting pretty for a playoff berth, and throw in there the Browns game, and we're 8-6 and almost for sure in the playoffs.........but it's all water under the bridge right now.

yea it sucks. we would have a totally different record if we had a couple of things on our side. but, rite now, im happy, and all of the skins fans should soak up this win and prepare for a HUGE one on sunday

The Skins are on track and with some off-season tweeking, I have the feeling we're looking at a very good team next season. Now if we could get a little luck with reducing the injuries.

I agree. We are making progress. The Redskins have improved significantly over the past month. I think the biggest thing is to be more disciplined. Yet again we were in double digit penalties--several of which were really stupid.

Let's hope our scouting is right on this year. Maybe we can get some good linemen to go with our "D". No big reshuffling just better coaching. Less penalties and missed assignments and we will be Okay.

The announcers said yesterday that if we had scored 21 points in each game this year, we would be 10-2-1 heading into the SF game.
