For anyone out there who's unable blame the redskins for their bad season, there's a new addition to the scapegoat list: the detroit lions' center. A bad snap on the PAT attempt after Harrington's last minute drive cost the Lions a shot at winning in overtime. One of our possible playoff scenarios relied on the Vikings losing that game. Despite that, I think we still have a shot, but I'm not sure.

A team with 5 wins through 14 weeks has no reason to be thinking about playoffs in the same season. A 7-9 making the playoffs is ludicrous.

First of all, I think if we don't make the playoffs it is without question our fault.

BUT, we do have a reason to think about making the playoffs: the fact that we can make the playoffs. And as ludicrous as it is, a 7-9 team might just do it.

We should probably be glad the Vikings won. If the Lions won today, they'd most likely finish 8-8.
