at the san francisco game. I was planning on going tailgating with whistleandthumb, but i got up too late and wasnt able to leave until 12. me and my brothers and dad pulled up to the stadium at 12:30 and man was i surprised to see tons of skins fans tailgating. walking through the lots, there were skins fans left and right. the game wasnt pretty but it was fun. i was in a section where the majority of fans were skins. and when the majority of niners fans left at halftime and the beginning of the 3rd it was a party. skins fans were screaming for the defense. smoot, taylor, pierce all of them we're raising their arms up to tell us to get louder and it did. they even started to dance on the field to the music like it was fedex field. it was a great experience and proved to me that skins fans are truly the best fans and that the Redskins are the absolute best team in the NFL!!!

Good job! I was waiting for a few fans that went to the game to give us a rundown on how things went.
I found this picture. Is this anyone who visits hR?

Is it my imagination, or does that sign say "Fight for ALL D.C." instead of "Fight for OLD D.C."??

No I didnt see them but I was sitting next to this guy. The game was great! not the best looking of games, but it was great! after each score all the people in my section were singing "HAIL TO THE RESKINS!" We were cheering Defense,Smoot, Taylor, Pierce. Just everything! there was even a guy dressed up like a cowgirl fan there (I have no idea why) the croud even started to cheer "DALLAS SUCKS!" It was a great experiece for me and my family. even though I was as sick as a dog.

Great job of representing over there on the West Coast, Redskin006! It was definitely a fantastic showing by our extended family out there. Folks, this 12th Man is getting its "mojo" back - big time. The proof is in the pudding - this team is 5-9, and we havent lost an ounce of hope, enthusiasm, or dedication. And when we show up at other people's parks wearing our colors and starting chants, it speaks volumes about how we have returned.
I expect more of the same for the Burgundy and Gold faithful that will show up on the road for the first of our three playoff games in a few weeks. Yeah, I said it.

I had to go back and edit my original post. [before I posted it that is] I was going to mock the fan myself but thought better of it. Like Jim said. Its the thought and meaning behind the sign....

On the first defensive drive i thought we were gonna be in for a long day, but once that first interception happened by taylor i knew that we were gonna be in for a big treat. the defense really stepped it up at the game and they were having fun. they were just playing good ole' football. it was fun to watch and fun to see. by the way, in pregame i was near the field and smoot was about ten feet away from me running around in the endzone. i was screaming out his name, he waved at me and smiled. dockery did the same thing. none of them, came over to the fans, though, but it was a sweet experience.

Yeah, I'm not mockin', just thought it was funny. Yet another "misheard song lyric," like "excuse me while I 'kiss this guy'" and "There's a 'bathroom on the right.'"
Fight for "all" D.C. is probably a better lyric anyway.

I ended my three game in a row stretch at candlestick. What a trip, what a game, and what a franchise. The skins rule. We were deep at the stick.

I talked to Mike Tice last night about letting me fly down with the team, but he knows I'm a 'skins fan so "no deal" was his answer. He also was unwilling to hire me as his agent. Needless to say, my conversation with him was not the high point of my night.

Boy it makes me proud to see the Redskins so represented! Think about all those fans there....displaying the proud Redskins tradition of grace, decorum, and sportsmanship...(at least I hope there weren't any drunks starting fights...oh that's right, that's Philly! )

Actually you are right they didn't rape us on beer like fed-ex. It was like $5.75 for a normal beer and then 1$ more for like the big size. I was shocked actually, I definitely over budgeted for the beer and ended up quite drunk as a result.

LOL! I never thought I would see "over budgeted" and beer mentioned in the same sentence.

I'm watching the game from last weekend and I noticed they played the Funky 4's song with 1:46 left in the first half. Bad timing, it's in the 3rd quarter. Duh. LOL

That's cool CarMike! I went up to the game w/some people that live in San Pedro. We normally meet up every week in Torrance to go watch the game. I know I said this in a previous thread but the game was unbelievable. After each score there were choruses of "Hail TO The Redskins" in many sections. There were so many Redskins fans there. I saw a lot of different Redskin's jerseys. From Riggins, Doug Williams, and Sonny J. to Tupa, Arrington, Coles and Portis. I'd also like to give a thumbs up to the Niners fans (at least the ones that I was sitting w/) because the were pretty classy. No knuckle heads that tried to start anything and for the most part they seemed pretty knowledgable about the game. I can't wait 'til next year when the 'Skins come to Arizona. I'll definitely be at that game.

Me too!
It has been warm all winter........until now. Tomorrow we might even get some snow flakes.
By Sunday it may be warmer.......hopefully. Don't want ANY EXCUSES for the Burgandy and Gold not to represent.
