The offense has come a long way, and I think we can pull this one out. But I can't predict a blow out when we get so many FGs from inside the 10. Hopefully we can improve on that against Dallas.

Well, that rules out DC_Cowboys!
Let me save him the trouble. 13-1! :lol1:
Why is it when Cowboy fans like to talk about the past, they conveniently leave out the 2 NFC Championship games in which we drubbed them?
Anyway. We win a close one.

17-13 Dallas, with the Boys score the last minute TD to win the game and expose how overrated Skins D is. During the game winning drive, Lavar freeleances and leaves Jason Witten wide open for 20 yards TD.

Impressive math skills there. I do believe this incompetency is universal throughout the Cowgirl kingdom though.
I would be thoroughly impressed if Phallus could kick a game-winning field goal when they were already leading.

Neah, it 's just too cold today so my brain freezes :Pickle: . I was thinking of the TD by Jason Witten and had a second thought about the kicker. It's easier for Lavar to freeelances and gives up TD.

If we shut down the run Vinny will throw picks galore. Shutting down the run will be a little harder this go around though.

Ok for me is about matchups.
Our offense against their Defense. yesterday they played great against a Philly team that was killed with injuries and were black and blue from the beating they got last week from us. I don't think Ramsey will give them 4 INTs like DM did yesterday and we actually have a running game so they just can't play the pass like they did against Philly. If Portis runs forget it. We could endup storing 35 points on them.
Our D against their offense is almost laughable. You don't think Lavar and Taylor (Springs will most likely be back) will not bring it on especially since we have a fair chance to make it to the playoffs? I do. Griffen and our LBs will contain Julious and if Vinny has to go up top I figure we are good for a couple of INTs for sure. All in all I think they are overmatched so bad against our D that they don't have a chance. I will give them special teams however and in a close game that may be the difference. it will not be close however unless we beat ourselves in this game with penalties (I am sure we will get a couple of bad calls against us AGAIN) and dropped passes.
Game plan. Just run Portis 30 times and win 28-6.

This would be believable if the Skins D were really overrated as you say. However, the premise is flawed at the outset. Our D is NOT overrated. Check with the Philly and Pittsburgh players who said we were the toughest they faced this year. Ask the little girly boys in NY. And ask the tired worn down cowpukes after Sundays game. (That's if they let you in the hospital to see them.)

I think this one will be close, for no other reason than the fact that this is the Cowboys vs. Redskins rivalry.
I'm not sold on Julius Jones yet. He came out of the gate swinging, but he has been quite average lately. 2 weeks ago, he picked up 88 yards (or 3.8ypc) on the leagues WORST rush defense (New Orleans), who typically gives up 150 yards or 4.7ypc. Last week, he faced a better D in Philly, but was still limited to 80 yards or 3.2ypc. The Eagles usually allow 110 yards or 4.3ypc. The Skins will be the toughest rush D he has faced all year. (He didn't play in the Steelers game earlier this year) I could see him "coming back down to earth" on the 26th.
Honestly...the entire Dallas offense does not scare me. The only thing that does...is the speed of their defense. Their linebacking corp could really create problems for Ramsey and Portis.
Regardless, the Skins WILL win. I have no doubt that Gibbs will gameplan accordingly and get the win, no matter what.

the offense struggled in the 2nd half against the 9ers, so i dont expect a huge offensive explosion like we had vs the gints. regardless, the offense will get atleast 2 touchdowns. julius jones wont struggle for yards, but he aint breaking 75. portis will have another tough week, but ramsey in the air is what will work the best.

It's payback time folks!
The zebras gave the Cowjokes some generous calls in the first matchup and we lost a game we had no business losing...It's time to rewrite the ending in that hole-in-the-wall in Irving!
Mark Brunell, yes that Mark Brunell, torched the Cowjokes for over 300 yards through the air in the first matchup! The Skins beat the Jokes in just about every phase of the game except the final score. This will not happen again.
I don't expect the Cowjokes to open the game with an empty backfield as they did before, not with Julius Jones healthy and a more formidable running game. The Skins D will be up to the challenge as they have been all year against the run. The D will force Vinny (colorblind) Testaverde to beat us through the air and our D will be ready. I see another return for a TD this game by a defensive back...
Our O will control the ball and might actually take a couple chances down field this time. Even if we don't, it shouldn't take more than three TD's to hush the drones in Texas Stadium. Their D is suspect and we will expose them this time!
A few weeks ago, Parcells called his players stupid. After this game, his players will call him brain-dead. The Tuna is done!
I predict "a hole in the roof" type of dominating performance by our beloved team. We will open the roof so God can watch America's TRUE TEAM - THE REDSKINS lay a Beat Down on the Cowjokes!

We've had a couple opportunities for this team to take themselves "up a level" and we've fallen short each time. With the team steadily improving in the second half of the year and holding on to a slim chance to make the playoffs, I'm calling for this to finally happen. Our team will make a statement and beat the Cowboys.

I think we have to beat them...I have a good feeling about it, although albeit its a little silly.
On a personal note, my 5 and half month old niece died of SIDS the day the Skins played Dallas earlier this year...I don't think if my little bug is up there she'll let it happen again. After all, amazingly, in this weather, there is new grass on her grave (and noowhere else) and right after she died flowers were blooming on a bush right in front of her grave and they were dead everywhere else...clearly someone up there loves her as much as we did when she was here.
The Phillies won the day she was born, the Skins lost the day she died...I have confidence that she won't let that happen again... :)

In the third quarter, Sean Taylor will convince Joe Gibbs to put him into the game as a WR to block. Portis runs a sweep to the outside and weaves his way past the linebackers, then Roy Wiliams comes into view. It appears as if he will tackle Portis for a modest 10 yard gain...then out of nowhere Sean totally demolishes Roy and then Portis busts free for the TD. Sean hovers over Roy and taunts him continuously as Portis does his horse trot into the endzone.
Oh...and the Skins will win 24-10. :)

There are 2 things that concern me about this game:
First it is Roy Williams. He's the 2nd best safety in the league and the way he addresses the run scares me. The way we need to neutralize him is get him into coverage because he becomes very ordinary if he has to cover (which he rarely does). We must use Cooley and Gardner in the passing game.
Second it is Bill Parcells. For some reason he always seems to be a step ahead of Gibbs. Remember the first game and the HB pass for a TD. That put the game out of reach. Considering Gibbs play calling this year its hard to imagine him taking some chances now. Also Parcell's record against Gibbs (11-6) doesn't help.
However, we are a much more physical team now than we were in the first game. Even though they have Julius Jones in this game, we have Lavar back (even if he isn't 100%). Its gonna be another classic NFC East matchup. Two teams trying to play smashmouth football and the one who fights the hardest will win. Even though I know we are the better overall team, I'm HOPING that we can pull this one out. Dallas always finds some BS way of pulling it out but I'm picking the 'Skins 23-20 on a last minute Int by Smoot to seal the victory. Go 'Skins!!

payback is in order for this one. we outplayed dallass yet we were robbed and everyone knows it, including the players. they will be out to kill especially since there is a slight chance that we can make the playoffs.
i think this game will be closer that it should be because that almost is always the case when these two teams meet. ramsey has a good game and portis goes over 100 yards as he inches closer to the 1500 yard mark.
my fearless prediction:

Things to bear in mind. The Cowboys have started to find their running game, which could make it a bit more awkward for our D, but a Bill Parcells team can only play one way, so the guys should know what to expect.
Where the game could be in the balance is our offense. If we come out and play like we have the last 2 weeks them we should score 27 points and that should be enough to win the game. If the offense starts to stutter again then it will be more difficult.
Just read about Ramsey given the starting job for next year. Hopefully that should give him the confidence to get us by Dallas
:jetsuk:
we destroy them. our defense with springs back completely shuts down the boy's offense, continuously leaving us with a short field on offense. our defense will score once and once again leads us to victory...34-10

I believe Redskins offense will be very unpredictable in this game. Redskins should stop the run and make Vinny beat them. Witten will have a big day against us. But it wont be enough. Portis will not run for 100 yards. Ramsey will throw for 300.

i honestly dont think the cowboys have a chance in hell of beating us. essentially, they got 14 points, and we lost 7 points, by BS calls from the refs in that game. thats a 21 point spread between us that should have gone in our favor. That will not happen again.
during that game, dallas was playing some of its best football of the season. and we played some of our worst. brunell had a decent game, but it WAS mark brunell. he's gone. the skins are playing way better now with ramsey at QB. we are fired up. we are sick of them. parcells may start a young rookie QB who we will destroy. and if parcells sticks with testeverde, we will get atleast 3 picks, as he is an interception machine.
no way we don't blow out the cowboys.
my prediction: cowboys 13. redskins 30 (3 field goals, 3 touchdowns.)

Another things thats not being said is that we didn't have Lavar the first game between us. That hurt us and that is why they were able to move the ball against us. We adjusted after that but Lavar not being there hurt us alot. Btw is was a 14 point swing as they got a rediculous PI that put the ball on the one yard line while the refs didn't give us the same when Gardner was practically tacked with the ball still about 10 feet in the air. Note. Same ref made both calls. Hmmmm Dallas fan anyone? Being from Europe I know a ref makes these types of mistakes in a soccer games his life ain't worth spit (not that I agree with that but). Also in that game Gibbs essentially had one of the worse time mismanagment situations as he wasted timeout after timeout. If we had one more time out (or if Gardner went out of bounds) when Gardner caught that ball from Brunell we would have tied it and probably won it.

Oh, yeah, I just remembered. Dal-A$$ now has to deal with Lavar too. hey DC cowpukes, I hope Vinnie doesn't send any recievers over the middle, because if he does, Sean Taylor just might kill someone. At the very least I predict a heavy fine and 15yd penalty for ST after he BE-HEADS Jason Whitten!!!!
Really ? Sean Taylor a hard hitter ? Would you like to point out his name on this list for me , please :Pickle:

the score may have showed that dallas won that game, but in my mind, we did win. we played a better game than them. there was no excuse for the officiating in that game. in my entire life, i have never seen a game with so many blatantly biased and bad calls. dallas got a W for that game, but they didnt earn it.

The list is meaningless. I bet if you were to ask Aikman, McNabb or Warner Arrington would be at the top of their list.

Ok, Fair enough, show me this list next year whe ST is tops on it Followed by Arrington and Bowen!!!!
Ok, DC Cowgirl- one final note: Didn't Lavar end someone's career in little d??? Can you remind me of who it was? I would say that ST is going to end Vinnies career this weekend but...come on, we all know Vinnie's career has been over for a few years now! :Pickle:

Man are you right.
Those idiots have no sense of reality first off, secondly they're rediculous with some of their comments
"We ended Philthy's super bowl run last week, let's end the deadskins this week"
Making fun of people getting hurt is....whatever during game week, but afterwards, come on. It wasn't like T. newman made some sort of amazing, bone jarring hit, he freakin bullcrapped TO from behind.
Whatever, I hope some Crap-boy fan reads this:
I'd love to see Lavar retire crappy old Vinnie, I'd love to see Griffin submarine and dislocate Larry Allen's knee, I'd love to see that old fool dexter coakley get killed by Thomas or Dockery, I'd love to see Coles Crack-back on Newman and Williams, and ruin both their careers, and I'd love to see Portis run for 150 on these guys.
And thats just for starters.
Redskins 13, Cowfaggots 3
They think silly little Julius Jones is going to have success against OUR defense???
Come on, lol, thats like saying Ramsey will burn Newman w/ help from Roy Williams.
But what will happen is those silly little turds won't gain any yardage on the ground, and we will. Low scorer, sure, but the fags won't get much offense all game.

HOLY CRAP!!!!
We just got the biggest gift that we've gotten all year yesterday... almost our ENTIRE DEFENSE GOT SHAFTED, SCREWED OVER, IN THE PRO-BOWL VOTING. Theres no excuse for it. They have been overlooked time and time again, they have been the victim of bad calls by the zebras all year...
we have a big game coming up against dallas sunday, and our defense is PISSED. They have a chip on their shoulders and they have something to prove. They're going up against a struggling dallas offense with a QB that is an interception machine. Lavar is back. Our offense is gelling. We have slim playoff hopes.
Our team is pissed and dallas is going to pay. End of story. They are going to be our whipping boy on sunday and our D is going to show the entire country who is really #1. I am so stinking excited!

You forgot to add the part of the refs throwing a BS penalty flag and everything gets called back, LMAO!!! Only kidding I hope!!!!!!

the good thing about this game is that i dont have school the next day, so in case we lose i wont have to hear it from the cowboy fans. but then again, if we win, my trash talking will be a week late

Defense takes at least 1 interception from Mr. Interception. Offense plays the best game of the year. Kick coverages does their jobs. Hopefully!! :)

Tough game but we should win by 7+ pts. We nearly beat them on MNF, a game stolen by the refs & Brunell still our starter.

i'm revising my prediction, I think the D will shut them out and score a defensive TD. Dallas has a good D but we can manage a few drives on them for 1 TD and 2 field goals, so i'm saying we win 20 to 0.

Also I dont think Dawkins should have been proclaimed as the leagues' hardest hitter. I mean hes a great safety and all but i don't remember him jacking anyone up on espn. I also remember him getting ran over by Eddie George (who is now deactivated) on monday night.

I shake off my fear of posting game conclusions.
Washington 34
Dallas 19
The riddles aren't at RB for either team, its at WR and who's got the most active corps of receivers.
The safeties aren't the riddle for the Dallas defense, its the front seven's plan for Sunday. Roy Williams will continue to be used as a run stopper and will get help in coverage on deep passes, but the problem will be "who" to cover.
The receivers will be plentiful for Washington and their defense will be more motivated than ever.
Dallas will try to get mix matches, like a WR on a slower LB, downfield or a CB having to stop a Cowboy's sweep after a fake to keep the Skins LB's off the pursuit. If Washington tries to suffocate the run, Parcells is not afraid to option pass, no matter how obvious. He's a gambler.
