Good move, i think he wanted to come and play in DC first season. He had received offers and could have gone elsewhere. He is a good young catcher with alot of potential. Last season he hit .257 with 12 HRS and 49RBIs, but more importnatly for the second straight year, he led Major Laegues in throwing out runner with a whopping 48% throw out rate. Great defensive catcher. Signed a 1 year $2 mil deal.

The 28-year-old is a career .252 hitter with 27 home runs and 141 RBIs in 388 games spanning parts of five seasons with the Montreal Expos,
Schneider also went 167 games without an error.
Schneider's signing leaves four abitration-eligible players on the team's roster: outfielder Brad Wilkerson, first baseman Nick Johnson, and pitchers Tony Armas Jr. and Tomo Ohka.

He is a good defensive catcher. I would like to see him get better at hitting.
Since last year was his best year maby he'll get better.

Great start! He and Godwin in the same week! Cats that can hit and deliver on defense, quickness.
