What a tough loss tonight...The Wiz were up by 17 at the half. I had the same feeling I had at the end of the Cowboy game the other day...
I don't care what Uniform Chauncey Billups wears, he is a Wizard Killer!
They did hang in there at the end and after getting down by six, they came back and tied it with less than a minute to play...You can't waste opportunities against good teams and Hughes tried to force a shot up after a steal that was blocked by none other than, you guessed it, Chauncey Billups.
That crowd was rockin and I was looking out for IndianBaller, but couldn't see him...
I'd like to get his perspective on the game...Arenas and Hughes were terrific in combining for 64 points. Blake came in with 5 min to play and that is when Billups started to go nuts...I guess Arenas picked up his 5th foul right before that. Jamison did better than I expected, too with Tayshawn Prince in his grill all night.
Detroit is tough, but I was still impressed with the Wizards resolve out there...

im sooo bummed they lost. I couldnt watch or listen to the game but when I saw them up 19 in the first half I was excited. Hughes and Arenas were shooting like 70 percent at the time. When I got off work and saw they were losing I was frustrated.
It sucks to lose a game like this but if they respond well against boston it can be forgotten.

That was a crazy game, what a heartbreaking loss - to be up 17 at half time and lose the game - wow!!! I hope they can turn these types of games into wins in the coming weeks.

Man the crowd was awesome!
Unfortunately they only got loud towards the end of the game. The Wizards have earned my respect because they play hard. Now they just need to play smarter and be stingy on defense.
If Arenas doesn't slip I think he blocks that Billups shot. What is the deal with Kwame? is he hurt again? Pouting?
Did not see him at all last night

man that sucked. we were smashing them and then billups just decided to shoot 3s for the rest of his life. did anybody see larry hughes shake billups? he mad billups turn all the way around. the commentators didnt hype it up, so u might of missed it, but that was sports center worthy.

That was a great game, until the last 0.8 seconds.
You can't give up a 20 point lead against the Champions at home. You just can't.
Gotta give credit to Gil and Larry. They had an unbelievable performance. Over 60 points between the two of them, and a combined 59% from the floor.
BTW - Does Larry Hughes have a knack for stealing the ball, or what? After last night's game, he is averaging over 2.9 steals per game. To put that into perspective...the NBA career steal/game leader, Alvin Robertson, averaged 2.71 steals/game over his career.

Actually, we were up by 19 at the half. That was heart-breaking, just like the Dallas game. And maybe the reason you didn't find me was cuz I was in section 404 (aka the very top). I was literally in the highest row in the building. Where were you sitting? Anyways, that crowd was GREAT and the end. And I can proudly say that I was one of the thousands of fans there screaming my heart out. I just wish the Wiz could've come out on top. I still have yet to go to a game where my team won. :(
And YS, I think that was Gil, but I didn't actually see it. I was looking at something else when I heard the crowd go "OHHHH!!!!" Then I looked over and saw someone get and easy layup. I thought it was Gil cuz I've seen him really shake people before. Like one time last year, he made Darrell Armstrong fall. And did y'all see when Chauncey Billups tried to throw it off one of the Wizards' back on the in-bound? I didn't work. The Wiz got the ball to Larry Hughes at our own three point line on our side of the court and bounce passed it through Sheed's legs to Gil Arenas for the easy dunk. That was my favorite play of the night. Followed by when Antawn Jamison posterized Rasheed Wallace (I think it was Rasheed). Overall it was a great game, but it would've been better if we won.

im pretty sure it was hughes. but yea, i was REALLY surprised by jamison, cuz he hardly ever throws it down. he always does that little runner shot whenever he drives, so i was surprised when he decided to do a dunk. also, i know people like haywood around here, but i seriously hate him and have always hated him. he gets outrebounded by smaller guys every game, and can never make a layup. and it seems he needs like 7 seconds just to wind up and dunk the ball. he gets on my nerves
