Thursday at 7:00, we finally are seen on national TV against the sonics. Tough opponent, but I expect us to be hyped and the crowd to be crazy. This is great, finally some recognition.

Yeah Im excited about this. I wish it was on ESPN so I could watch it when I get home from the game in HD.

The funny thing is right before I saw a commercial for this game last week. I had checked the wizards schedule to see if they had any national tv games and there were none listed.

Rashard Lewis always lights the Wizards up...we need to put Jared Jeffries on him...and Eddie Jordan needs to tell the guards to only pass the ball to Brenda Haywood when she is completely wide open with no one around her because everytime she touches the ball its a travel or someone punks her for the ball...but as long as Larry continues to play the way he has been over the past 4 games and Gilbert can bring it for the whole game instead of 2 quarters and Antawn is hitting his shots then we should be good....and pleasseeee for the life of me someone play defense

the only way the wizards win this game is if they are making thier outside shots and the sonics arent. We seem to get killed by teams that can shoot the 3 like seattle.

Well if we put out a better than 50% effort defensively then we have a shot. I think the sonics will win, but we will impress people and keep the game very close untill allen and the sonics pull away in the last 3 mins.

I am really proud of them this year. For the first time in a long time I do not see them as a collection of millionaires stealing money because they suck. For the first time in a long time I see a team that is working hard and getting better by the game.

For all the wonderful play I've seen with the wiz, their lack of an inside game is an ever looming problem. Their shot selection is horrid at times.

yeah we lack an inside game but Haywood have stepped up this year and Ruffin's been solid on D. when we get Kwame and Etan back healthy, we'll have a good front court. but hey.. the Sonics are a great Offensive, 3 point shooting team.. but they have NO inside game to speak of so we shouldn't be so down on ours.

Rashard Lewis is a beast. Jamison would play better defense if he just laid down. At least that way he would set picks on his own team. Haywood was great during the short time when jordan used him. Hughes is a legitimate allstar. When hayes is scoring, we are winning.

Haywood was HUGE today in the 1st quarter. Making those 8 free throws in the 1st period was clutch.

I dont think the 400s are that bad. I sit like 10 rows up dead center and i have no trouble seeing anything. My eyes arent that good either.

well for one he has been hurt like all year. He is also out of shape. You can tell bigtime on the defensive side of the ball where the majority of the time he is just swiping at the ball and reaching in. He got called for a foul like his first minute in the game against the sonics.

Hopefully Kwame and Haywood can get much better before the end of the season. If the wizards are operating at full talent level Detroit, Indiana and Miami are the only teams that match up well against us.

The wizards have an opportunity to be really good this year if all of their injured guys can come back and contribute. Kwame was back last night although he did not do much. Hopefully Etan will give us some sort of inside presence.

Energy is great but a skilled big man who can score in the low post is needed as well. I just cringe everytime I see Arenas and Hughes jacking up horrible shots.

With a big man who can score down there it makes your shot selection so much better.

I like that Ruffin Kid to....He brings his best every night. I cannot wait until Etan is back healthy. Kwame and Brendan really need to step it up against teams they should dominate.

i like ruffin for rebounding but i get scared when he gets the ball for any offensive purpose. All they have to do it foul him and he will miss his free throws worse then shaq.

i still dont like haywood. hes a great blocker, and he can get a couple of rebounds, but he needs to get bigger, cuz when he is posting up, the defender doesnt move at all.

i dont like haywood either he makes me nervous. I dont think getting bigger would help him much. He doesnt have any moves. So if he got bigger he would just be a bigger stiff.

He would be a good bench guy.

Jamison has been playing a big small forward and the damage on his face proves that. Im hoping he can pull us through until Kwame is healthy/not stupid and Etan comes back.
