Out of all of those games, the one that really stands out is the Villanova/West Virginia score. Getting beat 38 points? Sorry bfauble, but thats a beat down. Plain and simple.

Kansas just barely held on as well. I'm glad for that though, that way they'll be #2 when we beat them on Sunday.

SkinsKY, didn't your boys almost lose to South Carolina? Not trying to be a smart *CENSORED BY SPENCE*, but I thought I saw some UK fans *CENSORED BY SPENCE* about it on a college forum...

why do you hate KU? the coach you got that is turning that program back into a powerhouse came from there(not like you dont know that, just pointing it). i think wv's getting thrashed by nova was the worst. they just got dominated. you want a surprise team, then how about boston college? and who says the ACC is going to get weaker next year in basketball.....

Yeah, we won by four. Our free throw percentage is awful. We missed at least 12 FTs last night. It's not uncommon to see UK fans complaining about anything because that is generally the nature of the beast. We have four freshmen who see a lot of minutes (two who start), so I expect some ups and downs.

Glad to say that Illinois held true to form and won by 19 last night.

WOO HOOO Villanova!! Though its partly a rival school to LaSalle, I've got a few friends there and one ON the team. I look forward to them doing well (Lord knows LaSalle won't....)

Not true Ryan. Roy Williams played for Dean Smith. After he finished college ball, he became an assistant coach for the Tar Heels. KU hired him in '89 I believe.
So Roy actually is a UNC guy.
OMT, about the ACC being weaker. Most said that it would be weaker this year since we added VT and Miami.

Yeah, I don't get ESPN Classic so I didn't see it, but wow! I guess we just don't play well as favorites...first time ranked in 7 years and they get destroyed the very next game.

I didn't see the game, but Kansas has mad heart for a team...came back after being down 16 to Georgia Tech and won in OT. Kansas has been my college team for a while for bball, and I will continue to root for them. Kentucky's goin DOWN!!!!
