"We are working real hard on getting the contractual stuff that we need to get done," Gibbs said. "We are taking care of all of our free agents and redoing the deals that we think we need to redo. I had conversations with players on Friday morning and I told them how important it is for us to get that done. We have a list of guys that we need to get squared away."

Let's hope Gibbs had a heart to heart with Freddy.

Its so nice to see how Gibbs is doing business. Where would Stevie be now....on the golf course.

Seriously, when does Gibbs sleep? This is the hardest working man I've ever seen.

i wonder if joe has moved the cot back into his office? If Joe for some ungodly reason fails, it will not be due to effort. this man works harder in his sleep then Spurrier did awake

I bet Fred Smoot was not on the resign list

All the more reason for players to step up and play much better. He does make progress, works hard, and takes his position seriously. We should only have players on the roster that want to do likewise. Signing is part of it and they should be very realistic with Joe, not playing the squeeze game that some did in the past. It won't work.

I read early after Gibbs came back that the cot was one of the first things back in his office. He also had a personal bathroom and shower installed at Redskins Park for all his overnighters.

In other news, Spurrier is working on having a cot and shower hooked up at Augusta National for overnighters on the golf course.

Gibbs never rests, his players have got to see this and in turn i think it will lead to a better work ethic all around. i wonder when he'll take a day off

based on this we ought to start seeing some signs of who is staying and who is welcome to go ...

the earlier the off-season deal making starts the better now that they are out of the playoffs ... I need my Skins fix ASAP
