The Wizards Should Tank

I know this is way too early, and i'll probably jynx them, BUT if the season ended right now the wizards would have the 4th seed in the playoffs. This would set them up most likely with Detroit in the first round. If they somehow got by detroit then they would have to face miami in the 2nd round. Let's face it, we just cannot beat them. BUT, if we slip to the 6th seed, then we would face the knicks in the first round (most likely), which is a very winnable series. Then we would face cleveland in the 2nd round, which would be a much easier team to beat than the heat. So if we beat ny and cleveland (more likely than beating the pistons and heat) we would make it to the conference finals. Who knows, by then maybe somebody might have knocked off the heat, so we would have a chance to go the nba finals.

Bottom line: Please don't set yourself up for a 2nd round series with the heat.

I would prefer we play the top teams so we can have a very clear picture of how to fix/alter our team in the off season to be able to compete the following year. If you never play the best then you have no clue.

the thing that i dont like is that if we get to the playoffs, the highest we can get is the 4th seed, unless miami slides and we pass them, which is unlikely. i think orlando vs wizards would be a fun series to watch

i think we'll end up with the fifth or sixth seed if we get fifth we'll ahve to play detroit and sixth we'll play the knicks most likely i would prefer knicks but we have to see how detroti and indiana play for the rest of the year and continue our greatness
