If you saw the last play the Wizards ran tonight, you'll know why.

They played like crap for most of the 2nd half, but pulled it out during the last 5 minutes.

Larry silenced the crowd with 0.7 seconds left. I LOVE IT!

BTW- what is up with Milwaukee pumping in fake crowd noise during the game. IT was getting annoying.

Dixon was on fire split, it was nice to see. He hit clutch shot after clutch shot! Money shots!

Definitley, Dixon is probably the MVP of the game. But, Hughes is having an incredible year.

And the fake noise was so dumb :/ But yeah, 21-13 baby!

How embarassing to have to resort to something like that. If you can't get the crowd to make the noise, or it they are not present, why bother?

now Hughes and Arenas (GS) have made game winning shots with less than a second to go. our Big 3 is so consistent it's unbelievable. Hughes 23 (5 more steals), Jamison 22, Arenas 20. and Dixon was the X-Factor filling in for Hayes. 9 point lead turned 9 point deficit.. 8 point deficit with 3 mins. to go and nothing rattles this team.

Tomorrow nite's game is going to be a slug-fest.

They said that Steve Nash was doubtful for our game, so that plays in our favor :)

I think hughes is playing at the level of a top 10 player, but the wizards still don't get any attention at all. The wizards are close to unbeatable when they get scoring from a 4th source. It doesn't matter who, but if hayes, jeffries, dixon, haywwod, kwame, or anyone else is contributing significantly on the offensive end, then there is nobody in this league that can stop us.

It is still weird to think about the fact that THE WIZARDS ARE 21-13!!!!!!

some how, the wizards keep lucking out by playing these teams with their stars out. nash not playing is a HUGE swing in our favor.

and yes, larry hughes is the man. :)

Hey the Wiz certainly won't make any apologies for our opponets injuries. Hopefully we can lay a little pound cake on the Suns without him.

MCI is sold out a couple days in advance for tonight's game. It should be a good one since nash is likely out.

it's only fitting since our Big 3 of last year (Arenas, Hughes, Stack) missed so many games. what comes around goes around so let the luck roll on our side for a change. :)

That was a great win, but we should've blown them out. They aren't that good. But a win's a win. I'll take that any day.

And we better win tonight's game cuz they are missing their key player. We should take advantage of that and beat 'em.

The only negative note for the hot Wizards was that Hughes might have suffered a thumb injury, the severity of which was uncertain. Hughes, who tied his career high with 13 rebounds, had his right thumb X-rayed after the game, and the results will be available today.

let's hope it's not serious. he broke his wrist last year and we can't have him out right now no matter how good Dixon's been playing. Dixon's too small to play the 2 all game, Hayes and Peeler's been banged up. We'd be fine with Juan for a few games if Hughes is not seriously injured.. but Hughes have arguably been the MVP of the Big 3.

But Arenas can play the 2. He came into the league as a SG. We can start Dixon as PG and put Arenas at SG.

we'd be fine for a couple games but anything longer and you will see the deficiency in relying on that. we need Dixon off the bench. most of the games our bench is outscored so it's important to have Dixon as a spark plug. i'd rather have Hayes start at 2. Dixon or Arenas would have a hard time guarding the opposition's 2 on a nightly basis.
