I watched via picture in picture while watching football. What an awesome game by the wiz. Dixon needs to stay on this team. He is a core guy and the Wiz needs his spark off the bench and his defense.

I'm with ya on that JimReap. He gives 110% every time out and I'm glad he's starting to put it together. 26pts and 4 steals! Nice Job Juan!

Wizards--please stop doing this to all of us fans. You almost send people into cardiac arrest every time you play!
But, a win is a win :) 22-13!

I like the fact that they are beating the better teams so the confidence level has got to be sky high.

awesome performance and learning-while-winning experience. down by 9 with 6 mins. to go against the best team in the league and this team comes right back w/ ease like Mr. Miyagi catching a fly with chopsticks. they wax on when they need a run and they wax off when they're down and act like it's nothing. this team is growing right in front of our eyes.

This team is growing because we finally have something that the Wiz/Bullets have lacked for a long time... a real coach. These guys are darn fun to watch.

They have got to get some type of production from the low post. Kwame is the key to the Wiz being a team that has no holes in it's game.

I'm not an NBA fan but I'm happy for the Wiz. Everytime I hear them being discussed, it is good. I hope they keep it up like this all season.

Me as well. I barely watch the NBA, but it's always good to have the Wizards play well and beat the best team in the league. It's definately something to talk about in D.C.

8 straight... right?? We're on a roll!! We're tied for second in the east I think.I hate all that division crap. We shouldn't be ranked #4!

The NBA is a lot harder to watch these days as skill has been replaced by great athletes stumbling through the game.
The wizards are a refreshing change from the norm because those two guards and Jamison are about as skilled as you can get. I am really proud that the wizards are matching their talents with a high work level.

the NBA is a lot EASIER to watch now than in years past with the emphasis on hand checking that's made the game free flowing. in years past we'd get countless games in the 70's and 80's and now teams are routinely scoring over 100 (the Wiz have scored over 100 in 8 straight games). i didn't like watching the NBA the last 10 years due to the defensive emphasis/lack of fundamentals but now the NBA have done a good job in letting the offense come back. shooting's been much better (Phoenix, Seattle, Dallas, Wiz) and team work (Detroit beating LA) are now the "in" thing.

The skill level of players is down. They can shoot, but they cannot pass or play team ball. Everything has to end in a dunk.
The celtics mastered the art of the pass and those days are gone.

They don't show Sacramento that much, but if you want to see a passing team you need to watch them. Divac is gone now, but they were and still are an excellent passing team...they presently lead the NBA in team assists.
On a side note the Wiz lead the NBA in Team Steals per game :)

a lot of that have to do with all the HS kids coming in and early College entries. but most of those kids are now in their 4th/5th seasons and finally learning how to play the game. i don't think it will match the skill level of the Bird, Magic, MJ and Isiah's glory years but at least it's much better than what we've had the last 6-7 years since the last Bulls run.. even the Shaq & Kobe run as well i guess.. although they were in the era of the 1 on 1, highlight reel wannabe's.

before we get jumpy about beatin phoenix, remember they were playing without their catalyst and future league mvp steve nash. however, marion, stoudamire, and the rest of their team is still better than most of the east so its a good win nonetheless. we need to resign juan. hes showing team spirit resiliance and the ability to score serious points off the bench.

Plus Phoenix was playing their 6th game in an 8 day road trip...and you are right on about Juan!

Hey the Wizards do not owe anyone an apology for not having all their players on the court. You play who you play and the Wizards beat the team in front of them.
Now I agree that the Wizards should not book finals tixs just yet, but the victory is still very impressive considering that was the number one team in the league and the Wiz flew by them in the 4th quarter like that had cement boots on.
The Zards are pretty impressive right now, but life is going to get a lot tougher. The true test of a team is how they react to adversity. We shall see shortly.
