signs a one year deal. Armas is slated to be the #2 starter behind ace Livia Hernandez. It will be good to see Armas healthy and have a full season.
I like what the Nats are doing by signing these guys to only one year deals. Don't tie up the new ownership, let these guys prove they belong in DC this season, then re-ink to multi year deals should the new ownership feel they are needed and deserve it.

He had a couple good years in Montreal and always gives up less hits than Innings Pitched...you have to like that from a pitcher. I like him, good move for the Nats...

good move for the nats, hes better than anyone else they could throw out there, now if we can get ohka back we'll have livan, armas, ohka and day, 4 average to above average pitchers, solid starters. its not like we're throwing eric dubose or josh fogg out there.
