no i said that i dont have a good feeling that the wiz will win, but i think they can prove me wrong and beat the pistons.....so in other words, LETS GO WIZARDS! :)

Well this is a good thing because Detroit is turning up the defense.

The wizards need to play games like this where they are physically challenged. I watching this game to see if they are tough enough to make a game of it or will they fold under the pressure.

You learn more about your team by playing the best than you do playing against cupcakes.

The Pistons are showing the Wizards the benefits of physical defense and high percentage shot selection. Tonight the pistons are making the wizards pay for their poor shot selection.

This is exactly what the playoffs will look like for the Zards if they do not play better defense and develop some type of low post consistency. The Wizards need to think Inside - Out and not chuck it up as soon as you cross half court.

Man! Someone besides Gilbert needs to STEP UP!!! COME ON! Antawn needs to stop trying to shoot cuz he is clearly not making any tonight. Little ovver 25% so far for Jamison. He needs to help by giving other guys scoring opportunities. And Gilbert needs to show some of that quickness and get in the lane to draw some more fouls. Imagine if he did that on every play. It would be cheap but it would work. He should try it.

Yeah, I thought they would be tired cuz its a back to back game. Imagine the game against the Rockets. Four games in five days. Man! That's not good for us because it will be tough to go into the All Star break on a positive note when you have to play so much.

good defense beats good offense just like a good pitcher on a cool october night. we're now 0-7 vs. the top 2 teams in the East! teams and scouts know how to beat us and i feel once we get into the playoffs, our deficiencies will be exploited. save for our big 3 having career like games in the playoffs, it outta be a short stint. at best 2nd round before losing to the Heat 4-1.

The World Champs showed the Wizards what playoff caliber defense looks like. They also showed the wizards that high percentage shots and air tight defense will suffocate teams that live off of guard play.

Detroit owned the boards and the Wizards practice of poor shot selection came back to bite them in the rear today. The Zards had better start looking inside for some high percentage stuff or the second half of this season is going to turn into a nightmare when defenses start to tighten up.

Hopefully the Wizards learned a valuable lesson last night.

I think they would do well to remember what PLAYOFF CALIBER defense is like. If they want to make the playoffs they had better get with the Defense and some form of a consistent inside game.

Don't count yer chickens yet grasshopper...

While it does indeed look like the Wiz will make it in, the 2nd half of the season is notoriously tougher than the 1st half. The Wizards are weak in the one area that separates the champs from the chumps. They need Kwame, Heywood and Etan to step up big time.
