We should try for the 6th seed

Right now we are the fourth seed and we would play either Cleveland or Detroit in the first round. We dont stand a chance against Detrioit and Cleveland would be tough. I'm thinking we would be better off dropping to the sixth seed so we can play the winner of the Atlantic division in the first round. Regardless, it looks like Miami and Detroit in the Eastern Conference finals. Unless something drastic happens, we aint beating either of those teams.

I don't think we get there in the first place if we do not play better defense. The Wizards could collapse as quick as they ascended if they do not tighten up the D.

We will be good..if we play Cleveland in the first round i like our chances...6th isnt so bad but either way we would face Detroit or Miami in the second round...lets just get as high as we can so we can have home court advantage in the first round...and this year MCI has been an advantage

i think Detroit is on a roll and will take their division so it looks like the WizLets vs the Cavs in the 1st round.

6th seed is possible if Cleveland and Orlando overtake us.

we'd actually have the home court advantage in the 1st round against the Atlantic Division champs if we have the better record. in the playoffs, the seeding gets superseded by records.

but i expect us to finish 4th with Hughes coming back soon and for us to play Lebron and take them out with our experience and overall better talent. then lose to the Heat 4-1.

This is a team that hasn't made the playoffs in a number of years. I want them to get as high a seed as possible. Maybe it would be better to be a 6 seed but being the 4th seed would also give us home court for the first round. I'm also not completely writing off our chances at catching Miami. They are a Shaq injury away from being an average team and we have Kwame and Hughes coming back right after the all star break.

I'd hate to see the Wizards play for a lower seed. Its been so long since they were in the playoffs, I'd be thrilled just to see one playoff series.

yeah, me too. id just be happy to see them make the playoffs. whether they play the pistons or the heat, it will be the end for them. :(

screw trying to get the seventh seed, i want to shot for the division title and if we miss that then the 4th seed should be the goal...

who ever we play in the first round is less of a concern, in the second round we are going to have to face miami or detroit, teams we have yet to show we can really even compete with

I've never had my team go to the playoffs, except before when I wasn't into sports. But that doesn't count.
