Well nobody made one, so I guess I will. This might be the final game that Larry goes out. I'll go back to my pessimistic ways and say we lose 100-95

I wonder what we are gonna see tonight?
Which Zards team will show up?

PJR is active, and should be playing. He needs to get some experience. Down 13 at the half, i'll call a win doubtful here.

Horrible loss, the All-Star break couldn't come at a better time. We need Larry back ASAP.

If you have a guy on yur roster that is 7'3 and over 270 pounds and you think he is not ready for the NBA, you are not being creative enough as a coach. You have to place the kid in a position where he can be successful and gain confidence.
I think the Wizards are getting a whiff of just how tough the 2nd half of the season is going to be when you cannot defend anyone. The Zards need to wake up and stop reading the press clippings about them being legit. Legit is something you earn after 82 games and not 41.

We need more than Larry...we need defense

8-9 without Larry. 3 game losing streak. 5 straight games scoring under 100 points while we're still giving up a ton. when we lose we lose ugly.
this 8 day break will be good in that they won't have a swelled head thinking they've made it. this struggling period should get them refocused. Larry and Kwame both should be back so it looks like we'll be at full strength for the final 30 games.
prediction on the final 30 games: 17-13 to finish 47-35. then lose in the 2nd round.

I know Ramos is raw, but come on.... sooner or later the guy's gotta see the court.

Ok....52 games then...Principle still applies. If they do not play defense they can have 10 Larry Hughes and not make the playoffs.

Ramos needs to play. You cannot hide him hoping that the game will be softer. You need to place him in situations where his size can be an advantage. Given the Wizards lack of defensive intensity, Ramos can do no worse than we are doing at the moment.
I love Eddie Jordan and I think he has done a fabulous job, but if you cannot use a guy that is athletic, 7'3 and 275 pounds then you are not being creative enough. There are plenty of stiffs playing now that Ramos can take advantage of simply by catching turning and shooting.
Let the kid get some confidence playing against teams like New Orleans etc. He will have a much better understanding of the game with minutes under his belt and he might learn those lessons a lot faster than sitting all the time.

boooooo.... 30 points... I'm glad we're heading into the All-star break. We need some time to plan for the second half of the season.

Ramos must have a hell of a time playing when he's high all the time.
