The last I remember, the football world doesn't revovle around Sean Taylor :/

No, just a bunch of old clips of people getting hit REAL hard, especially one pretty good quarterback that used to play for the Redskins...:(

The interesting thing was the number of hits that would be illegal today. I'm all for tough football and I hate the new WR contact rules, but I'm glad they cut down on helmet to helmet hits.

Could you believe the fines a player like Jack Tatum would have to pay in this NFL.

That was the first time I've ever actually seen the Thesiman clip. Oh dear GOD...That was horrible(that and the one where the guys lands on his head and you see his neck bend back...) I like the good clean hits they are fun...but those nasty ones make me cringe.

That Theisman one makes me cringe every time. I still have flashbacks from when it originally happened (it was my Mom's b-day, and we were eating cake while watching the game...GAG). To this day, I can't watch replays where they're trying to see how a player got injured 'cause I don't ever want to see something like that again.

I remember some of those hits. I remember that one Earl Cambell took from Jack Tatum and still scored the TD. But the Theismann injury was one of the most gruesome things I've seen in sports. Makes me sick everytime I see it.
