Morton, Coles, Thomas, Hall all suposed to be Spurrier's salvation. After one season with the Ol' Ball Coach, in which they were all succesful, it looks like at least 1 of the 4 and more than likely 2 of the 4 will be back on the free agent market. How did the four jetskins fare in the last two years.

Thomas
- Probably best player on the oline for two years now, been worth every penny.

Hall
-Solid in '03, injured in '04. But when healthy a good kicker.

Morton
-Perhaps the most dissapointing. Was solid though unspectacular as an offensive player with spurrier. Got no chance to be an offensive player with Gibbs. Returned one kick for a TD in '03. Made one memberably smart play as a KR in '04 and season was curtialed by injury, could be released.

Coles
-Unstopable in the 1st 3 games of '03. Since then slowed by injuries. His unwillingness to have surgery on his toe is clearly hurting his speed. This year was forced into a possession reciever, when he should have been a deep threat. Was tough and tenasious as a blocker and receiver, will be missed.

People who love getting players in FA say that it gives you proven players, well it looks like FA is as much of a crapshoot as the draft.

It's worse than the draft...because you're supposed to getting someone that should already be ready to fi completly into your system....the draft is a bigger crapshoot cause the kid doens't understand all of your terminology....he can also be molded...in FA players come with their own bad habits...and concerns

One thing about this bothers me though. We arent the Pats and we cant be the pats. We have to be the Redskins and be led by Gibbs. he knows what he is doing and he wont let Dan S. (although i love Dan) ruin his legacy.
