Both my Schools are here:
#5 and #20.
And USC will be even better once all their players come back from suspension.

Never like college baseball. Almost all the good young players are in the minors with a few excpetions. And the sound aluminum bats make fill me...one reason i quit baseball (and the fact that i got hit 7 times in one season).

I didnt either until my first year at S. Carolina at I lived right by the baseball field, so I watched every game from my dorm room. And got to play baseball late at nights and take a couple swings of batting practice with the Cocks.

Can't agree there - IN the top 25 teams in the nation, there's a large number that will be drafted in the first 10 rounds of the MLB draft. Yeah they might end up in the minors for a while but thier progression seems to be faster than those who just go from HS to the minors.
Regular season is not too exciting but the College World Series is awesome.

So obviously Tulane is more than just a QB factory for the NFL?

Exactly. They also produce dozens of Single A and Double A baseball players.

Which as everyone knows is a boon for the economies of Small Town, USA everywhere. Take the Burlington Bees for example!

They are to be commended. Plus, they make decent bouncers during the offseason.

I hear that local moving companies depend on them for day labor too.

I agree, I couldn't care less for college baseball until I went to USC. The baseball team being really good every year helps, plus it is just fun to go to a baseball game. They just aren't allowed to serve alcohol so it must be nice to watch a game from the Roost.

Umm...it was while I was there when then banned booze....moving on. The Roost was great for Baseball, it was terrible for everything else. The Cafeteria near it, the fact that you were over a mile from campus..terrible.
