The 2005 EA SPORTS MAUI INVITATIONAL, hosted by Chaminade University, will be held at the Lahaina Civic Center on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, November 21-23, 2005.

I read somewhere that you're only allowed so many preseason tournaments in a four year period. I'm sure Roy will have us some type of tournament. Preseason NIT or the Great Alaskan Shootout.

NIT would rock!

CM - ddidn't you say you've never been to a game? We have to get a bunch of folks and do a group trip next season!! We'd probably have to go see a weak opponent because everyyone will want to see the defending champs.

This is true. never been to a Tar Heels game. And I'd love to go see them next year.

I could probably go a Wake Forest home game against the Tar Heels. But I want to go to the Dean Dome to see a game. Especially my first.

But, i'd make an exception to see a game with you though! :D

Nice to see Maryland in it. Between that and the BB&T they will have opportunities to put together a nice tourny resume.

How far are you from Charlotte if they get put into that regional. A couple of times I almost PM-ed you about cheap tickets on ebay but the cost went way up. They are just in big demand.

The Dean Dome is amazing and both Maureen and I were in awe when we went through the tunnel. I even got pictures of us on the floor (baseline corner). Aside from my first trip to RFK, it was the most excited I've been to just be in the building. Plus they have this really awesome media room that has tons of history and memoribilia. Oh and there is a main street on campus that has lots of awesome UNC stores and great food including Michael Jordan's restaurant... Ok I'll stop. :)

I'll never forget the feeling when I walked into the Dean Dome and saw all of the Jerseys hanging up in the rafters. And then walking around the concourse seeing all of the giant pictures of the old teams. Man, I get the goosebumps just thinking about it. lol

I only live 70 miles from Charlotte. Or an hour away. I've thought about going, but its been rumored for some reason that UNC will probably be sent to the East region. Which will be in the north east. They're saying around here that Wake will probably get the southern region. I don't why that would happen though.

OMT, I went to the Dean Dome once with my wifes 8th grade class to check out colleges. We made the hat trick. UNC first. Then NC State. Then dook.
