This will actually be back to back poll. The first poll, this one, will chose the very best WR in the NFL and the follow up poll, probably Monday will pick the second best to fill the second slot on our Current Best Roster.

Here are the RESULTS (http://www.hailredskins.com/05NFLsBestPage.htm) so far

You may still vote for the NFL's best Full Back in the NFL Forum. LINK HERE (http://hailredskins.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=23569) if you have not already voted in the BEST FULL BACK poll.

Ok, here we go...please vote....this one should be interesting.

I assume there will not be too many OTHERS, i have listed many options here.

Gotta go with TO. He was awesome last year and the fact that he had 120 yds in the Super Bowl at 75% says a lot about him. Although not the most likeable player, at times, no one can ever question his heart and desire to win.

TO is the best WR all-around!

Garnell Wilds may disagree with you.

As much as I dislike him, I said Randy Moss.

by the way, how did Drew Bennett and Donald Driver make it on there, but the Toe didn't?

Yeah, I went with Terrell Owens, too. Not happy about it, but I did. Good blocker, touchdown-scoring machine since 2000, catches a lot of passes, gets a lot of yards. Doesn't take plays off like Moss and Moss, who should be the best blocking wideout in the NFL, is one of the worst.

when he decides to play , moss, otherwise TO

I can't understand everyone's favortism towards Moss. His numbers last year were inferior to TO's. Yeah, he was hurt, but so was Owens. We are the fans of the home team that he walked off the field during REGULATION. Not only that, but our backup cornerback stopped him. We, of any fans, should know he is not best in the league.

I actually would put Marvin ahead of Randy. If you asking for highloght reals then maybe I would consider Randy otherwise several other players are more complete.

When Moss was basically playing on one leg, he got stopped by a backup cornerback. I know TO got 100+ yards in the Super Bowl, but he didn't really look to be having any trouble running in that game.

Moss has 90 touchdowns in 8 years. If thats not a touchdown machine, I don't know what is.

Agreed.

1. TO
2. Marvin Harrison
3. Randy Moss

The question is who is the best, not who has the best attitude or who is the biggest jerk. Moss walking off the field during the game shouldn't be taken into consideration.

Yes, that is correct. Owens is the best as of right now. 2-3 yrs ago that would have been Moss. Check out last years stats. Moss couldn't hold a jockstrap to TO.

had to go with Marvin, he's better than TO and I just couldn't bring myself to vote for Moss..................so next year maybe I could vote for that other Moss :)

Because he was injured and because Daunte spread the ball around extraordinarily well.

Why isn't Hines Ward listed? He is a complete football player who happens to play WR. He has stats comparale to TO and Moss with the exception of TDs (however, the Steelers are a run-first offense so no one would expect TO-like TD numbers). From all accounts Hines is the consummate professional and a great teammate and he is the best run-blocking WR in the game. I'd take Hines over anyone else.

I don't like him, but Moss has mad skills.

Moss is the choice for me here...he gets serious blanket coverage even on running downs and still out perfoms almost all DEs when he wants to play he has got serious game.

Hines Ward is underrated and should be on the list. He's not one of the top 3 (Harrison, TO, Moss) but he is better than alot of guys on that list.

I know a lot will disagree with me but i think its Chad Johnson. He is just scratching the surface. He has all the confidence in the world. Also look at the fact that he plays for the Bengals, switched QBs from Kitna to basicly a rook in Palmer and did anyone see the probowl skills challenge. He trains with TO and will definitely get better over the next few years...He is a staple on my fantasy team.

Marvin Harrison. Marvin gets more production in a spread offense than anyone has a right. He is dangerous all over the field and routinely beats double coverage like a pimp beats a holdout. Cannot be shutdown.

#2) TO - works hard and gets results - he really wants to win. He can be dominated, though, unlike Marvin. Mssr.s Taylor and Springs basically took him out twice this year, most of the catches he did make were in garbage time.

#3) Chad Johnson - Finally put it all together this year and busts it to get better each off-season. A complete wideout who can beat you with speed or moves and isn't afraid to block.

#4) Torry Holt - The #1 in the most productive pass offense outside of the dome in Indianapolis. The smoothest route runner in football, the guy can beat anyone.

#5) Moss - The guy is a creep and a quitter who gets by on pure physical ability. His physical ability is freakish, however. Routinely takes plays, quarters, halves and whole games off. I would rather swallow broken glass than have him on my team.

If i could only have one of these reciever i would go with moss because of his redzone threats and his deep threats. he is all around great.

Chad Johnson is the truuuuthhhhh. Chad Johnson is as good as any wide reciever in the league, he just needs to be in the game longer for him to be #1. Moss is sick, I dont know why people are hating on him. He was out for like 7 games or something, and he still had like over 10 tds or something. But.......... the best wide reciver is hines ward cuz hes the most complete wide reciever. i cant believe hes not on it

Moss is #1, but just barely. TO is #1A. Moss can't be stopped...the only guy who can even slow him down is himself...which he does too often. If he had anything between his ears he would be the best all-time player in the NFL any position. Never thought I'd say this but TO is a better team player than Moss. Although Moss is a "better" WR, there are probably 10 WR's in this league that I would rather have, just because I think Moss is a real jerk.

In terms of raw natural talent, the best reciever has got to be Randy Moss. If he plays well there is no guarding him. In terms of how they have played though, without a doubt its TO.

I said Moss. IMO, he has the best god-given talent at the WR position. He's done things and made catches that I thought were not possible.

Starvin' Marvin w/o a doubt, sure you can state the obvious that he's got peyton, but marv is the best thing since sliced bread...he's being doint it so long that we have forgotten about him

I was thinking the same thing. Hines is the best "all around" WR...

The best offensive WR is TO.

Harrison. Better person and teammate than Moss, works hard doesn't seem to ever get hurt. Would take him over any big Mouth named Owens or Moss anyday

I went with Harrison as well.
Moss and TO are over-rated.
Harrison is more concerned for the welfare of his team. While Moss and TO are more concerned with being called a superstar.

This really is a tuff decision for me. If you look at the question of who is the "best" I have to say:

All Around - Ward, for same reasons stated by others here (catching, blocking, team player)

Best Raw Talent WR - Moss. Owens is close, real close but honestly who's going to cover Moss when he's 100% on his game? Too bad that's not all the time

Best WR for 1 Special Game - Owens. He made me a believer in the SB

Best Rookie WR last year - Roy Williams. Can't wait to see what he can do with a real QB

Best potential WR whos not proved it yet - Chad Johnson, the next two years for him will be special

Most Overrated WR - Coles, post bum toe. He's not top 10 regardless of the 90 catches they say he is

Too many choices but since I know I'd choose Owens in a game that mattered the most I gotta go there as much as I hate it!

Randy. TO is second.

Randy Moss is the most physically gifted WR in the game. That being said, T.O. is still the BEST WR in the game. Keep Moss happy, and he'll still take plays off. Keep T.O. happy, and he'll play his butt off. Not just receiving, but run blocking, pass blocking, etc... No team will EVER get 100% out of Randy Moss. If they could, he would be the best receiver. But they can't, so I have to go T.O.

randy moss, definitely most dominant at the position. TO shows a lot of heart though.

Results are what I expected. Moss or TO are way above everyone else.
