..the possibility of acquiring Ty Law from the Pats. Granted, I'm not well versed in the details of what's going on with him, but it seems to me he would be a good pick up to help replace Smoot. Perhaps he's asking an absurd amount of money or the Pats want something outrageous in trade? Just suprised noone has mentioned him up to this point.

The fact that no one has mentioned him is a good sign. It shows that as a group of fans, we are fairly knowledgable regarding the salary cap. I think that everyone knows that we simply cannot afford to pay him the money that he is going to want, so therefore it is pointless to talk about.

think he may have injury problem right now and his best days are behind him. even if healthy dont think we would pay him what he will be asking for.

we need a CB......but might as well go with talented youth for now and the future and we have already allowed cap space with our 9th pick......Rolle :)

Ty Law is a cancer, who will want too much money to come here and who's first priority is money. Not to mention he's old, and he's seriously injured right now. Big Time No thank you from the Redskins

His price tag along with his age will be too high.

Ty Law is overweight, coming off a broken foot, a poston client and wants 16 million in bonuses. Pass.

I think he'll be going to the Chiefs. Either him or Patrick Surtain.

Yowsa! Had no idea he wanted that much cash. No wonder noone's mentioned him as a possibility.

I know its like congratulating someone for not being an idot but Nsyder and the FO stayed away from all the pitfall signings this year IMO. No Rolle No LAw...this is as good a move as signing any one player considering our history.

I don't think anybody is looking at him right now. Until he can pass a physical he will be out there. I would love to have if he was willing to sign a short contract and play cheat but since we don't live in disney world it ain't gonna happen.

A problem with him is he has already won a lot in his career so you can't make a case for taking less money to win a ring. I really don't see him getting any kind of big contract.

ok seriously, everything that needs to be said has been said, but i'll just summarize. No Ty Law because hes coming of a foot injury, he's way too old and he's asking for waaay too much money. Who does he think he is, Peyton Manning?

He will want way too much money and he's getting up there. I think alot of teams are stying away b/c they feel his goal is to get one more payday.
