This is basically a message to new members of the board. First of all we'd like to welcome you all to hailRedskins.com. We're glad you joined our FAMILY here at hR.
I just want to make you are aware of some things I've noticed on the board recently.
First and foremost, members should read and adhere to the guidelines of hR. The guidelines are posted in every forum in the Announcement section at the top. Please read them so that you are familiar with them.
Second, when replying to post or creating a thread, please use the English language. Don't post in slang as I've seen a couple of times. We have members from all over the world and we want everyone to comprehend your opinion.
Third, check the board before creating new a topic. Go at least 2-3 pages deep when checking. You can also use the search function to look for discussion on topics. Some people think they have a breaking story and it's already been posted (numerous times). Check the board before creating a new topic, chances are it already exist. We believe in keeping the board organized and uncluttered. We don't like multiple threads on the same topic hence you've seen threads with [Merged] in the title.
Fourth, put threads in the appropriate forum. Each forum has a description of what topics should be put there. Familiarize yourself with them. Lately I've seen a lot of threads that were in the wrong forum. I've also noticed that members will do it knowingly by stating in their post "I know this is probably the wrong forum but the admins/mods can move it later." Well, if you know it's in the wrong place, don't put it there. We've let this slide a bit but if we continue to see it, the thread will be deleted and you will be warned.
