I just want to say I'm getting sort of tired of articles and posts always talking about the same thing. Who we lost and never seem to recognize the players we have left. I mean come on especially on defense people make antonio pierce seem like the cornerstone of this franchise. Writers all need to start giving some dap to the players we still have, Sean Taylor, Lavar Arrington, Marcus Washington, Shawn Springs, C. Griffin, Salavae etc. Im just saying teams would kill to have what we STILL got. A last thought.. year 2 under williams with a better understanding of the defense.. the defense was good but believe me we are going to be better.

First of all welcome.....

You raise some good points, but know one knew Antonio Pierce was gonna turn out to be that good that quickly. I believe it was the system that made him, but he played very well and for him to be a back up and very good special teamer in the past years, he's just getting his props from fans that will miss him....that's our right as fans! We lost two core skins and everyone knows it...Deep down Gibbs is pissed cause that has never been his MO, to lose core players.

Yes we have very good players on D and yes it's time to move on..some people are a little quick to move on like myself. But many fans take a little longer to heal...My wife isn't a real football or skins fan, She's slowly coming around. But she has always liked Smoot and was shocked when she found out that he was gone to Minn...

In closing give people time to heal....it'll take some stress off you.

Our defensive talent is pretty good(but the team whose talent people would kill to have is the Raven's D...its not fair). And they all preformed EXTREMELY well last year. The member of OUR defense that people would kill to have is Greg Williams.

As long as we are not devistated with injuries (Springs,Griffin,Taylor, or Arrington), then we are a top 3 defense once again.

Definitely top 10 and probably top 5. I hope we're top 3. Our division rivals include Andy Reid, Bill Parcells and Tom Coughlin. They will make adjustments.
