Alright so it's Sunday afternoon and I naturally have nothing to do.
So I decide to play the Jets in Madden, and heres the stats that I hope will reflect next year's Redskins:

Horse Trailer Player of the Game: Clinton Portis

Patrick Ramsey: 140.2 QB Rating, 262 Yards, 4 TD, 20/28

Clinton Portis: 195 Yards, 2 TD, 23 Att, 4 receptions, 52 yards

Santana Moss: 8 Rec, 95 yards, 2 TD

Darnerian McCants: 4 Rec, 95 yards, 2 TD

David Patten: 3 Rec, 10 yards

Lavar Arrington: 6 tackles 1 Int

Walt Harris: 5 tackles 1 Int

Andre Lott, Sean Taylor: 3 tackles

Cornelious Griffin: 3 tackles, 2 sacks

Marcus Washington: 2 tackles

Shawn Springs: 1 tackle, 1 Int

Notes: Coles held to 1 reception for 10 yards. Curtis Martin had only Jet touchdown.

I've played on all pro before, but sometimes I just need to put up huge numbers. Next time I'll give all pro a try!

I play all pro, all madden is impossible. sometimes i set it to rookie, change the A.I all the way in my favor and increase the quarter times. you get like 10-15 ints, 1000+ rushing yards, many many TD's, its kinda fun. I beat st louis one time like 260-0

all madden isnt that hard, you just have to know how ea sports set up certain things. you get better. its much easier w/ a very good team.

whenever i play all madden i find myself play calling like joe gibbs, just curls and screens. it seems whenever i do long passes it gets intercepted or deflected

Use play actions and pump fakes. What I hate about Madden is the CB will be alone with my WR 30 yards down field but somehow he will find a way to deflect the underthrown pass. I hate that the QB doesn't overthrow the target that often.

when i use PAs the blitzers always get me. Yea, madden made the dbacks have some supernatural jumping power, cuz they can deflect anything near them it seems

the secret, i think, is actually more in line w/ the ol ball coach. throw it deep, throw it often. youll get it sometimes, esp w/ fast wrs. then use running plays, specifically in goaline (no matter where you are) to run it. use play action to mix things up. but ill throw it 30-40 times / game and run it 10-20 times / game. clinton always gets at least 100 yds and ramsey gets a couple tds, throw 250-over 400 yds. no sweat. and i hope they fix the computer db problem (an 85 cb plays like a 95 cb on my team. also, a computer db w/ 85 speed shouldnt keep up w/ my wr of 99 speed on a fly route.)

only 1000 rushing yards??? i did that once and i got 19,000, it was brilliant. it got to the point where i was downing every kickoff , punt, and pick on my own 1 just so i could get more yards.
