The Give It Up to the Wizards Thread

Well our Wizards just won convincingly in the biggest game of our season and have clinched the playoffs for the first time since 98 and it feels even longer than that, so the purpose of this thread is to give our team SOME PROPS!

We don't know who we'll play, how we'll play, or how far we'll go, but the bottom line is that this city has not been very well aquainted with the playoffs in any sport for well over a decade, so let's show some love to the team that hopefully will inspire a turn of the tide for our city.

the WizLets have made the Skins' offseason go by with something else to look forward to! first time in 8 years baby! with the Nationals doing good, the United MLS champs, and the Skins' always entertaining us one way or another, this Wiz team is further cementing DC's return to sports prominence!

When was the last time Washington had a playoff basketball team and a baseball team? To long if you ask me. Went to the game and it was great, after the Bullets won they had the Pacers beating the Nets on the big screen and then they shot confedee off when it was official. Great game, great season. Basketball in May, who would have thunk it?

I'm just happy they made the playoffs. What an accomplishment.

I hope them the best inthe playoffs, but if they dont' get past the first round, I wont' be upset in the least.

Considering how bad our sports teams are in DC...it is nice to actually watch one in the postseason.

Way to go, Gilbert, Larry, Antawn, Jared, Brendan, Etan, Blake, Dixon, Ruffin, and of course, Eddie Jordan.

Im never listening to the analysts ever again. EVERY year i always say the wiz are going to the playoffs, and in the beginning of this year, i just got so depressed and picked us to only win 35 games. im so happy for the wiz, and now im gonna pick the skins to only win 6 games next year. hopefully we will get to the playoffs too

yea thats so true. now that we are being talked about by the analysts, i can see which one actually knows us and how we play. Ive seen a lot of analysts and writers say things about our team that is wrong.

Yea that will be a hellava day...but we don't know for sure if the Wizards first game is on Saturday or Sunday cause they like to split it up 4 and 4.
