for the redskins? They don't sell general admission tickets to any games, you have to buy them from a season ticket holder.

LOL i would be the same way, its just in the 20 years i have been a skins fan the Skins have never played near where i was at. But this year i plan on going to either 1 game in Washington or taking over the game in Tampa. I just dont want to be disappointed, i have waited a LOOOOOONG time to go to a game.

well you will never be disappointed its always packed and loud, but if you dont mind shelling out the extra dough my advice is to take in a opening day game or a cowboys game, theyre extra rowdy then

It's a great experience. hRTGII, my first Redskins game, a win. Unforgettable. Thanks mom (she got me the sweet hookup with some tickets in row 11)!

There's already some tickets on sale on eBay but not many. I'm sure you'll find more the closer to the start of the season. Last year I bought my tickets before the schedule came out and scored some in the 10th row from a season ticket holder (Niners game)!! So this year I'm going to the Arizona game but I haven't found any tickets for that game yet. Hopefully my cousin in Phoenix (another huge Redskins fan) will get them because he lives about 15 minutes away from Sun Devil Stadium. My advice is to frequently check eBay to find tickets because you might end up w/a good deal (depending on the game you're planning to attend).

Just curious -
for all you peeps that get tix on eBay:
How do you know the authenticity of the tickets before you buy? Has anyone ever gotten the short end of the stick???

The Redskins should revoke any ticket holders ticket priveleges if they are found to be selling them on eBay!

What should you do then if you're going to be out of town for a weekend? Waste the ticket?

I will be at the Tampa game for sure. I live in Orlando and my company has has about 50 season tickets to Raymond James. I plan to be in VA in Oct. and am going to try to go to the 49ers game if I can get tickets. I have yet to see a game at Fed Ex.

I am trying to get tickets to the Washington/Tampa game myself. Been a Skins fan since I was 5 and have never been able to get to a game. Hoping to change that this year

If you don't have family or friends to give the ticket to, Places like HR have a classified section for ticket trading etc for Redskin fans. There are 100s of Redskin fans right HERE that would love to go to a game. Ultimately, the Redskins organization should set up a system for fans to exchange tickets.
Anyone that has even an ounce of respect for their fellow season ticket holders would NEVER put their tickets on eBay. You should at least do some sort of screening before unloading your tickets. If you sit next to me and you blindly sell your ticket to an unknown Eagles fan or Ravens fan, you're not gonna want to come back to your seats.

My buddy and I went to the Skins-Eagles game up in Philly back in 2003. We bought the tickets off an Eagles season ticket holder off E-Bay. Row 1, 50 yard line-right behind the Skins bench. We were all decked out in Skins gear. Jerseys, headbands, and foam fingers. Turns out when we got there, everyone around us was either related to an Eagles player, or married to one. Oh man, did we get it. We lost by 2 points after a failed pass from Ramsey to Coles in the endzone in the last minute. We barely made it out of there alive. I will NEVER do that again. Best seats I've ever had at any pro sporting event, but way too dangerous. "Helmet Man" was all over us the ENTIRE game. I lost my foam finger during halftime due to a fan burning it with his ciggerette. They placed a security guard right in front of the entire game to make sure we were still alive. I'll tell you what though, we had it bad, but Trotter had it the worst. They were layin it on him all game too. The guy on E-bay wrote us back after the next week and said that he got so much s*** for selling us those tix. At least he had to suffer too....

What should you do then if you're going to be out of town for a weekend? Waste the ticket? It's not that they should revoke the tickets, but it's the fact that they can revoke the tickets. It's very clear under the Terms and Conditions "The Redskins reserve the right to revoke/and or not extend renewal privileges to any season ticket holder who advertises and/or sells ticket(s) for a price in excess of face value." So..I guess it's cool to sell 'em at face value, but if you put 'em on Ebay, or anywhere else for more than face value, you can get screwed. I'm too much of a chicken-sh*t to put mine up...besides, with the exception of pre-season, and Thanksgiving weekend, I use mine... IMHO, it's just a matter of time before the Dan gets his ticket office to start screening Ebay.......

No it is that they should. You are correct that they reserve the right to revoke people's tickets. But they are not enforcing their own policy. For the benefit of their bread and butter, the season ticket holders that regularly attend the games, they should enforce in this policy. The number of enemies that show up in our stadium is unacceptable and borderline intolerable. I haven't even taken my wife to a philly game the past 2 years because of the harrassement she'd be subject to. Why should she have to sacrifice her right to sit in her seat because, a bunch of drunk philly fans bought tickets from my fellow season ticket holders. If the organization is not going to do anything about it than we as a fanbase need to correct the problem. Thank God for places like HR where fans can go to get tickets. I urge all season ticket holders that have any extra tickets to post them here

Can't say I agree with you BUT understand your point . There are people (believe it or not) who have waited the 15 -20 year wait just to get season tickets BUT not because they are Skins fans but are ProFootball fans. There's even a guy I sit behind who is a fan of ANY team that plays the Skins - even wears the color of the visiting team. ............ My point is, anyone should be able to go enjoy a game and root for whom ever - just don't be JERK doing it and use common sense.
