I pre-ordered this game about a year ago so you already know I'm a big fan of the Battlefield Franchise (well... only Battlefield 1942... the other ones suck hard). I used to play competitively with a bunch of different teams but mostly with =ws= (warsaw), even won a few championships in TWL and CAL :) . Just incase you have NO IDEA what this game is, its a FPS (First-Person Shooter) that pits you as either axis or allies and sends you to different battlefields throughout the war. Players can fly, drive tanks, drive jeeps, drive APCs, fly bombers... pretty much everything you can see.
This next battlefield looks AMAZING. If any of you played Half-Life 2 and thought that looked good then you haven't seen anything until you've seen this. You can either be the commander or a grunt. The commander has the view of an RTS (real-time strategy, you know, like command&conquer, warcraft, age of empires) and you can tell your squads, tanks, helos, or jets to go. There's voice communication within squads but only squad leaders can directly talk to the commander (I thought that was cool). Another really cool thing is that the size of the battlefield you play on grows and shrinks depending on the amount of players are in the game.
anywho, here's the link: http://www.eagames.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/home.jsp
check out the fantabulous movies and screens!
