Wow, I can't believe there isn't a thread posted considering we've all talked about the rivalry and I've personally helped fuel the fire a bit. Well here is the official thread for the series. My prediction is the Bulls in 6, but only because we're banged up. The 'Zards will be too awestruck and never get off track.

Keep in mind two things. 1) I've watched zero NBA games this year and 2) I'm only trying to fan a friendly rivalry. I still am very happy to see Washington in the playoffs.

(Disclaimer - It was announced on the radio that they are matched up in the first round. I don't know for certain that it is a fact.)

Yeah, it's a fact now - Chicago won last night and the Wiz lost. They had a chance though. It should be a good series. I'm not going to hand it to the Bulls just yet since they are somewhat banged up too. I'm pretty certain we'll rest the big three tonight so they can fresh come Sunday.

I we can steal one of the 1st two games on their court then watch out!!!

I'm going to say Wizards in 6.

The Wizards are not bad, but considering their last playoff appearance featured a completely different team we have no idea what they are capable of at home or on the road.

Wizards in 7. This is a very even matchup considering the Bulls injuries and home court advantage. This is going to be one of the most entertaining playoff series of the year.

Kobe all but refused to play in Charlotte, so that wasn't really the teams fault...more of Kobe being a little $&%(#

OOOHHH YYYEEEAAAHHHH!!!!

I can see it IB! I think the Bulls not having Curry will hurt them. Deng hasn't played in quite some time either, but they just keep on charging.

I like how we match up with Chi-town and they will be just as awestruck as we are.

I say the Wiz in 6!

Wizards in 6.

a little fire under their butt at first by the :devil2:

After they wake up, being 1 game under, the chatter around the league will start that its not in the cards. Fans in D. C. will be peeved.

But it takes a whole series to wrap it up and that's how the Wizards get the edge. IN SERIES, check their stats against team. Repeated matchups are favorable for them.

On the other hand the Bulls are just the team to break their (Wizards) backs, when certain players underperform in such an important game, may be even taking a few plays off. The Bulls aren't merciful and Kurt H. will be pumped for doing everything he can to win each and every game for a full 60 minutes.

There's only one way that I believe you won't win in 3. MJ suits up for the Bulls.

On a serious note, this is going to be one hell of a matchup.

Seriously, its never too early for therapy. :D

I say Gordon averages 32 in the series and the 'Zards head home tail between their legs....

Ok now that I talked trash... when is game 1? :)
